Since John is being given a "revelation," it seems most likely he would write what is absolutely true, rather than what those who are deceived might think is going on. Therefore, a deadly wound and yet living should be precisely the situation. Animatronics might trick some people, but in this age, many would be really skeptical. These lying wonders are going to be spectacular.
