TR Different wave length and only kills “some” microbes. UV-C is an extremely effective option for disinfecting, it does come with a safety warning. Many UV-C products use 254 nm, which can penetrate the skin and eyes. Exposure to UV-C can cause burns. UV waves have potential, but you have to remember, this is an engineered virus with a hard “shell”, so they are not 100% sure! Most UV waves can destroy bacteria, viruses, fungus, and molds that can reproduce (the shell becomes weakened during reproductive stages).
