Oooh  oooh  I can relate to the mimosa tree with pink flowers.   We used to have that flowering tree on the front lawn at our NJ beach house.  It grew wild down there.

The seeds are helpful for cleaning out the gut and intestines.  I needed these pills for when I was dealing with Lyme disease.  They did the job …

That's not exactly a softball question, TR. Lol.

No problem … this storm actually was the most unusual because there was sooooooo much ice … we are just used to SNOW and just a little ice every once in a while.  But the reverse happened or was it even stevens equal amounts?

I tried today to get the sweater on Dodger … the ordeal took 7 minutes    He is miserable and wants me to remove it.  Instead I told him he is a pretty boy.

Then he got up and went berserk and managed to yanked apart the Velcro on the neck … :mdrmdr:    I took it away before he starts chewing the material.  Last time I put this on him was 4 years ago.  I thought thru time he might have mellowed to the idea … oh well … its still a NO.

Yes it is a sensitive plant in that the leaves close if touched.  This is great ground cover down here.

Ah, ok. I am not sure what Mimosa tree variety I have but it has the same looking leaves and the same kind of flowers.

It likes full sun, though, and I am North facing...so it struggles.

On a positive note, I hear it is invasive in the Southern USA. No problem with that here. 😛

Speaking about invasive bushes/trees .. anybody dare plant the orange trumpet bush?  I did back a few moons ago.  It was only a harmless stick with a BIG warning on the box it came in  that I got from Walmart garden center.  Took about 4 years before I saw results and beautiful orange flowers.  I planted it away from the house … in a flower bed near the driveway where we parked the cars.   I had to move out and then last fall I drove past the old home and saw the new owner by the roadside so I stopped to talk to her and asked if she is enjoying that bush.  She gave me the evil eye and said that bush was climbing all over and she had to have it professionally removed. :mdrmdr:

It is definitely invasive in the right climate, yeah.

So far, so good up here. It will need a severe pruning back soon or it will engulf the sister's house, though.

I think I encouraged it too much with regular fertilizing and water. Lol.
