I was wondering who else in our team, did not take the vax, but it is hard to ask questions. I thought of a colleague: she does not seem to be too scared of C19. She was eating snacks once and offered me some. Another time she sat very close to me; shoulder to shoulder. She is athletic. I thought she is not the kind of person to get the vax. I texted her last week telling her I might lose my job because of not getting the vax. the next day, I was home at night and I felt scared. most of the times I am hanging in there but that night I was scared, and even felt hopeless.

the phone  rang shortly before 7 pm, it was my colleague. She never calls me home at that time. she said she just noticed my text and she won't take the vax either. she refused to reveal her vax status to HR telling them that is private medical info.

I told her I don't know how I am going to fend for  myself. she had a couple  of suggestions, then she  said maybe we can do something together.

we spoke  again a couple of days ago and she said  she would  like to invite me to her place sometime.

Thank God for always providing someone when we are feeling so bad. Like I said, the first time she called me, I was feeling scared and hopeless.

Now, I am looking forward to the visiting her and I really hope we can do something together.

OK, feels like I keep changing the subject. I got a call from an attorney from Legal Shield. I dealt with her before. I am glad  I got to deal with her again.

I said I am going to be serving  a notice of liability to my employer. She said don't do  that,  there is  a lot of crap in there, stupid stuff and alarmist stuff.

Frankly,  these were my thoughts. That is  why I made a lot of  changes to  the notice of liability that I was going to  serve.

According to the attorney, I should say something like this:

I have been working for you remotely and I would like permission to continue to  work remotely, I will  continue to provide my best service and if something came up and  I need  to go to the office, I am willing to take the  PCR test.( At that point, I told the attorney why I don't  want the PCR test.  She said that might be required. When I said, I won't. She  said put the rapid antigen test)

then I can say if I am going to lose my livelihood, I might consider  legal action.

I asked her what about if they put me on unpaid leave. She said then don't threaten to sue and make the angry. If there was a chance they might take you back, then they won't.

I just emailed HR requesting that  I work remotely. I told them I have worked  remotely for months and was  able to serve  my clients successfully.

I told them if there is no way they will  accommodate me and my livelihood gets threatened, they will  leave me with no other  choice but to  consider legal action.

I am  glad I am off work until Wednesday, I am  not in a hurry to read the  email I  get from HR

God, if  you want me in this job, help  me.  If it's time to move on,  please  provide something soon.  all these  uncertainties these days get overwhelming.  Thank you. In Jesus' name.

When I  was logging off my work computer, an email  came from  HR. There was  a letter attached with  the title: non compliance letter (something like that)

I  read the email very quickly, I did not  want to get agitated by the end of the  day. However, if I read  it  correctly, she  said  they will  only deal with the  union and not a lawyer.

What? are they now  telling me  that I  can only deal with them through the union and  not attorneys?

There were also emails congratulating another colleague on getting a new position. I recently applied  for this position but did not get  it. the colleague who got it  is not as  qualified for the job as  I am.

It is with the English language program  for immigrants.

She sends email  to students enrolling at the school welcoming them and  explaining a few things to  them. She  used to cc me on some emails. There would  be  language  mistakes and  grammatical mistakes in her message . I thought it's embarrassing for the person  welcoming students to a language school to have mistakes in their writing.

Anyway,  she has the  job  and it  looks like  I  have no work anymore.

I am sorry Tammie.

I don't know how much time I have at work. In  a previous conversation, it was Dec. 31.

Like  you said:  Merry Christmas.

Per the new (latest and greatest) federal mandate, ALL healthcare workers must be fully vaccinated by January 4, 2022 or you can no longer work in healthcare. That is going to go over like a lead balloon. No telemedicine, no acute care, no long term care, no medical practices. If a facility accepts federal money, i.e. Medicare/Medicaid they are required to comply. Most non-profits cannot afford to loose that reimbursement, so they will comply meaning all employees in the facilities will have to take the Vaxx or no job. So lot of folks, including myself will be jobless.  Upside down for sure; all the years of education, experience, and knowledge they are just going to throw it all away. The demand for a jab that does not even work on a fake illness that is not even a disease at any level. B-) :calvin
