Well it says Adam was 130 yrs when Seth was born ... but we know there was at least Cain and Able prior and there had to be some daughters that aren’t mentioned because where did Cain get his wife?  He would  had to have married his sister that was close to his age.  To fit in with the 6,000 year marker point ... what do you show the age Adam was when he first became a dad?  For all we know ... Adam and Eve could of had a lot of daughters before Cain (their first born son was born)?

And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

We really don't know how old Adam was when he became a father.  We have a time window but not an exact year.

I think that Cain would have been born very shortly after the fall.

Yep, we can definitely say all their children were born after the fall.

Going back to your question ... I think Eve could have been created right before the fall since satan would have been jealous seeing they were both created in God’s image and that God had given Adam complete control and oversight over the Garden (Genesis 1:26).  He gave Adam everything on the earth for his pleasure (Gen. 1:28-30), except for one thing, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ... can’t eat the fruit (Gen. 2:16-17).  So I’m sure satan waited for the first opportunity when Eve was by herself and went on the attack to put doubt into her mind and to convince her nothing would happen if she took a bite out of the fruit.  And for her to say “neither shall ye touch it” goes to show she wasn’t paying close attention to the one forbidden rule.  Also it says she gave to her husband and he did eat.  Soooo was Adam actually standing around in this conversation and not saying a word???  Or was he some place else and she had to find him and gave the fruit for him to eat?  Did he not recognize what the forbidden fruit looked like and was tricked to eat it since he saw a bite already taken or did he know what he was doing because he saw she took a bite out of it and didn’t die?     Plus how do you explain death to them when they never seen anything die prior to their disobedient act?

—————-

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Very well could be that Eve was created just before the fall. It could be that Adam lived for about 30 years without a help meet.

Or maybe Eve was created shortly after Adam. Perhaps God created them with mature bodies and not mature minds. So, He had them grow up first and gain life experience before they were tested at the age of 30.

Fascinating subject. I can’t wait to go for a picnic with Adam and Eve in heaven. Smile

Yeah it will be cool asking them questions on life prior to the fall as well as afterwards.   I wonder if Adam ended up making the first dictionary and/or encyclopedia with his work of naming everything?   I also wonder if they will be annoyed with the never ending jokes about committing that first sin?  Also will everyone be asking to see their belly to check out the non existence belly button?   Or perhaps in our glorified bodies we will be like them with no belly button? B-)     Only Jesus though will still have his nail-print scars from the cross.

Scientists say that maturation rates of growth were much slower then.  Maybe why the original lifespans were so long!

God saw it was not good for man to be alone.  This then speaks of Adam being alone!

A good guess would be that Eve was created 9 months before the fall, at least!
