Then there is hannukah!

Indeed while it is exciting ever looking for His return and trying to ascertain that day, His soverngty always seems to predominate!

All we can do is to continue to be transparent in our love for Him!

We all are so ready to be in His presence and leave this sin sick world.

As we can almost hear the hoofbeats of the four horseman approaching, again not being appointed unto His wrath, we can only continue to glory in the Blessed hope of His near return!

May we sense the nearness of His heart, as He approaches!

Love & blessings..TR

I enjoyed it too. I grew tired of Jan Markel talking about politics. It got to be too much and I think she got steered off course a bit. At least, IMHO.
This hour was much like the old Jan Markel I remember. Very encouraging and uplifting.

I spent yesterday in tears and prayer. The horrible things happening in the world got to be too much for me. Spent time in Psalm and found comfort there.

Psalm 11:1-7 KJVS
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? [2] For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. [3] If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? [4] The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. [5] The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. [6] Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. [7] For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his g countenance doth behold the upright.

Yeah,  I agree. Sometimes the news get to be very depressing and makes me angry.  So,  I turn it over to God. He'll take care of it. Justice will be done.  Smile

If Adam lived 33.5 years without sinning and then there are a few questions to be raised.

God gave a command to,  "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. " If Adam waited 33.5 years to be fruitful and multiply that would be disobedient to God's commandment and therefore a sin.

One solution could be that Eve was not created until right before the fall.

Or perhaps when the Lord created Adam he was fully mature and could have been age 30 yrs?  Then he was given the task to name all the animals, plants, etc.  We don’t know how much time that took ... could be a 3 year ministry.   Or if he was created at age 33 ... then perhaps 1/2 year to name everything before losing his rib to Eve?

He could have been created to be 30 years old,  yes.  However,  that would then derail the we are approaching 6,000 years train and put us well past that.  Assuming the creation was in 4,004 BC.

Or Adam could have been created at the age of 30 years old and then not aged as there would be no decay before the fall.

This bears further study,  anyway.  Smile
