If one pokes where the black ellipse is (above), the website loads the posts and then scrolls to the latest post on that thread, even if it's been placed subordinate to a previous thread using "Reply" above a thread. If you click on the thread title though, it will load the posts but you'll not scroll down. Then you'll scroll down with either the thumb-wheel or the slide bar to the far right. That's a nice feature, particularly if someone is commenting relevant to someone's point made just above that has the "Reply" awaiting. It will scroll to the latest post, not necessarily the one at the bottom. PS -- Kolleen just found the feature I'm highlighting! She likes it! Stated another way, if one pokes where the black ellipse is (above), the website loads the posts, which may take several seconds, but then scrolls to the latest post on that thread. That's even if it's been placed higher up with posts below it because it was made subordinate to a previous thread using "Reply." I think that's a nice feature, particularly if someone is commenting relevant to someone's point made just above. Readers are thus taken (auto-scroll) directly to the latest post -- not necessarily the older one toward or at the bottom. If you click on the thread title, on the left side, it will load all the thread's posts, which again might take several seconds, but then you'll have to scroll down using the thumb-wheel or the up/down slide bar to the far right. I almost always click on the feature that takes me to the last post. It saves a lot of scrolling time. Very good feature. Might save TR from having to buy a new mouse, too. 😉 From the get-go I’ve always clicked on the hr(s) minute (the black eclipse) area … not on the thread title. So I did the experiment of clicking on the thread title only just to see if my iPad would auto scroll down to the newest post, but it wouldn’t. So I was using the nifty feature without even realizing it. B-) I only use my cell phone! TR Yikes! That takes dedication. Commitment! Remember that old song, "Walk a Mile in My Shoes?" I understand the problem now. Sorry TR. Me too. Works very well just touching the time of the last post just above the person's name. An elegant solution and it will save your index finger done callouses. i've tried posting something twice today without success...may be on my end...will do this as a test...but mine were on two very long threads...
