I never did care much for that movie. I know, I feel the rocks coming. Just never was one I cared for. But dark chocolate is something I really like! But I'm sure you know I was referring to Charlie Garrett

It’s ok, I didn’t care much for either the old or the new version with Johnny Dep, too creepy and the original was so fake …. It’s like I’m not a fan of Alice in Wonderland or actually not many of the Disney films either …. Oh well! I’ll probably get marsh-mellowed along side of you :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:  — I do like sci-if, but only as looking at them as through the coming lies …. There is so much telling of what they plan ….. You think of the Borg ship in Star Trek — it measures similar to the design as described in Revelation for the new Jerusalem yet it is the ugly side and Lucifer lying about God’s beauty.

I liked some of the older ones. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea comes to mind. I liked the Fred MacMurray ones. They were fun. But I don't like magic so that knocks off a lot of their stuff.

According to Peter Ruckman, we will all be 33 year old males. He taught that there will be no women in heaven.

Of course, we should reject such ridiculous teaching. Lol.

Ouch, I do remember the Ruckmanites — twisted a bunch of Bible truth. I so long for being in the presence of truth, mercy, purity, righteousness, and steadfast love :prayer-hands:

No more lies, anger, evil! :prayer-hands:

Swiss Family Robinson is a favorite of mine. I also liked the old Dori Day movies. My Fair Lady, The King and I, Moses, and shows like Gilligan’s Island, I Love  Lucy, The Andy Griffin Show, The Wild, Wild West, The Rifle Man, those are the good ole days. Heaven is far sweeter! :prayer-hands:

Don’t like magic …. but what about Nanny McPhee … as the movie progressed watching her warts disappear along with that hideous hanging tooth. B-)

That was an odd movie for sure and the sequel just as odd. No, I agree with Yohanan, I’m not much on movies with magic, evil, or such. Although I will be honest to say I’ve watched my far share of Harry Potter, Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, and a few others, but not ones like vampires, living dead, Friday 13th, or Freddie Cougar stuff those are purely demonic and made to desensitize to evil.

That’s the last “magic” movie I saw on tv. I didn’t see the dark side in that one … instead it was rather humorous.  I never saw the sequel … I wouldn’t at all be surprise with hollyweird making that one dark.   I’m not into horror, dark magic nor the vampire and gory movies either.

My limit as a 3 - 5 yr old was watching Herman on The Munsters.  Then in 2000 when it appeared as reruns … TV Land … that’s when I got the shock when this one episode had grandpa in his dungeon calling on the underworld.   I was shocked and quickly turned the channel and never wanted to view that program again.

Yet the lack of interest in exploring this assuring and positive possibility continues to fall on deaf ears!  WOW!

I'm not sure I'm following you here, TR. Can you bring some clarity to this?
