Many of these patients won’t have a choice regarding this vaccine. This is upsetting. I used to teach Genetics, Organic Chemistry, and did Viral research at a university. I wouldn’t consider taking it. Come Lord Jesus!

Its sad they are targeting the old and feeble and, of course, murdering the innocent babies too.  Next year food shortage are really going to start to kick in so they are right on schedule with their evil agenda. :negative:   If Myrtle Beach’s Nursing Homes/Assistant Living facilities are anything like NJ and Vermont - this is how “most” operate:

They want their money up front for the “personal care” and they will even try to take the person’s home if you’re not careful with reading the fine print before signing the contract. If a person is well off ... they get a roomy condo with 2 bedrooms/2 baths/living room/dining room/kitchen and they encourage you to bring your own furniture any special antiques, pictures, etc.  Sounds like the perfect ideal situation.  Of course they are monitoring everyone’s account and when the money starts to get to a certain balance ... they transfer that person to a studio unit with 1 bedroom/1 bathroom and they have the authority to sell off the furniture and personal items.  Then when the money gets close to running out completely ... the family are then notified their beloved loved one suddenly has passed.  Its very cold and calculating but this is how many facilities operate behind the scenes.  Oh and any haircuts/assistance in combing their hair/shaving/help in getting dress/having their shoes put on, etc. that is all considered “extra” fees.   So these facilities are not as glamorous as you think ... just a big money racket going on.   I heard a few horror stories ... their loved ones couldn’t care for their elderly parents because they worked full time and traveled so they thought this was the best alternative.  Each one said the facility sold their mom’s possessions - fur coat, expensive jewelry, the furniture, anything of value and their money on hand for the “extra” fees would often be stolen from their wallets.

When my dad was ill with dementia and was at the rehab center for a few weeks ... they tried to convince me that he needs to be in an Assistance Facility - same building different floor.  They would have taken both his bank account savings and home.  They didn’t count on I was able to work from home and take care of him 24/7.  Then they were back on the attack with “oh you’re too young to take care of him and thought I couldn’t cook”.  I asked that lady how old she was ... she gave her age ... I then said well I’m 15 yrs older than you.  It was priceless to see her reaction.  I said I was blessed with the young gene and I also can cook (certain meals). :mdrmdr:   As I visited the rehab facility while he was there ... I observed the mistreatment of so many of the older patients. Some are there until they die and none of their loved ones ever visit.  I talked to a few sitting in their wheelchair in the hallways and simply asked when they would be leaving.  They said “never .. they will die there”.  It was sad to hear their responses so I tried to give them hope and quickly shared Jesus and gave them a Bible tract to read.  Others you can tell were totally drugged up ... one old lady in the cafeteria room was in a wheelchair and literally had her face in her oatmeal.  I had to alert a worker and they took their sweet time walking over and then I watched her slap the poor old lady’s face a few times to get her to “wake up”.  It was cruel ... I couldn’t wait for the day my dad was able to come back home.  They, of course, drugged him up early that morning and he acted strange at the elevator by wanting to shake everyone’s hands and saying goodbye to them.  Some workers were laughing behind the desks and one said “surely you can’t take care of him like this”?  I said “oh no worries ... once the extra drugs you gave him wear off ... he will be fine and more in his right mind again.” Another priceless moment with the angry evil look on her face.   Sure enough about 2 hrs later he was more in his right mind.  Oh the games these places play.  Its despicable.

Geri, I commend you for doing the right thing and honoring your Dad. We are the only country that has such a high percentage of our elderly in long term care homes.

I too brought my parents to live with me, my Father passed away a few years ago but my Mom still lives with us ... it is my way to honor them per scripture.

I do get it that different circumstances arise and complicate family dynamics to make this type of arrangement impossible for some and I’m thankful to be able to have the opportunity to serve and care for my Mom.

There is a huge disparity in care offered in skilled nursing facilities .. a lot of cruelty.... it is very sad and God will judge accordingly. :prayer-hands:

With each new news item that surfaces, I can just hear Jesus saying:  Fear not, for lo I Am with you till the end of the age!

Once we accept fear, then unbelief is born!
