Okay. The Resurrection precedes the Rapture, right? Definitely! That's on solid Biblical authority!

So, RITA Now has just been resurrected. Then how much longer 'til the RITA Rapture? Hmmmm.

:yahoo: :yahoo:

Many of us have been on one version of Rita or another, or all of them, and some of us have been waiting for His return for even longer. Hal Lindsey's book The Late Great Planet Earth started many here on this epic journey. Many remember the LaLonde Brothers in the 1980’s and Jack Van Impe in the 90's and beyond. If you've been around long enough you'll remember 88 Reasons for 1988 (over 30 years ago!!!). I've read that the eschatology community as a whole is not very big and what impresses me, as I witness the returning of brothers and sisters from the pre-FB forum, is that we are a steadfast group of believers who really love our Lord Jesus and want more than anything to be in His presence without the murky veil between us and without sin in our lives. My life is not bad, in fact, it is pretty good and I know that many of yours are as well (“good” being a relative term, but certainly not impoverished). Sure, things could always be better, but it shows how much we all are in love with our Lord that we would rather be with Him than here enjoying what this life has to offer. THAT is why I love this community so much! I know a lot of you and I know that your lives are good, too. Yes, we all have issues we'd like to resolve, sometimes even escape, but the beauty and reflection of Jesus in your lives is so attractive and is such a Light on a hill in these very dark times that it attracts others to Him. I am so pleased to be back on this forum. I am so pleased to be in your all’s company again. I look forward to seeing more arrive from the per-FB Ritan and I look forward to meeting and getting to know many of you whom I have yet to meet.

Amen brother!  For some of us, the hardships and pain of this life just drive us that much more in longing to be in the presence of our Abba and our Savior and our Comforter.  Makes me think of the lyrics to an old Building 429 song..."This world has nothing for me, this place is not my home.  My mind is set on nothing less, than You and You alone.  I will not be moved."  Maranatha!!!

Hi Kolleen.  Well, it seems that I got some of the verses mixed up and apparently wrote some of my own words as well.  Oy vey (Yiddush expression for dismay).  Guess my memory is not quite as sharp as it used to be...lol.  Lack of lyrical  integrity not withstanding, I hold to the general sentiment of my original post.
