Isn't odd that so many prophecy teachers/watchers have passed? They were seeing how close we were to our departure and were certainly hoping to be amongst those believers who would not taste death... I am sure this is all part of His plan. I think we might be at the stage when people (Christians?) are wondering about "where is the promise of His coming?" Some days, I feel that the world is on the cusp of turning radically on Christians (we are getting a taste even now)- social media is going to be a nasty weapon. Have you noticed how many people feel free to run their mouths viciously on twitter and instagram? We know that all will be held accountable for those idle words.

Indeed, every thought, word and deed!

Talk about a sobering thought.  Give's me shivers.

The mystery of the “Great Cloud of Witnesses” ... I often ponder how often are they looking down watching and observing what is going on down here?  And when the entire church gets caught up ... are we all going to be watching the events as they unfold during the entire tribulation period or is the Judgment Seat, Crown ceremony, Wedding Ceremony, etc. all going to occur before the seals are broken to kick off the tribulation?   Then wouldn’t that mean there is a small gap in time from the rapture to when the tribulation officially starts?

I thought “giving an account for idle words” applies to unconfessed sins and not praying and asking for forgiveness?

We have these great promises as a believer:

I John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our sins from us.

He is our role model.  He throws our sins so far from His sight and never remembers them again.  Never dug up and resurrected.  This is the measure of forgiveness that we should also employ.

If we did, there would be a lot fewer marriage counselors and divorces!  This is what I look for when I ask for forgiveness.  It's how I should forgive!
