I want to preface this with I hope that I am not being sacrilegious attempting to speak for our Savior. These are just some sentiments that I believe He rained down upon my head today. But no matter what, He truly does hold us in His Hands! Relax -- I Have You! I feel your anguish, I feel your pain, I feel the torments within each synapse of your brain; I know your heart, I know your love, And soon I will reward you from Up Above. You have been a faithful servant, you have continually made me smile, You have run with determination each and every single mile; The contest is almost over, just hang on a little bit more, Your Reward awaits you in Heaven, I’m standing at The Open Door. I will not leave you to suffer, I will strengthen you to endure, I will fasten each of one your masts, and I will make your sails sure; I will put the wind at your back, I will shine My Light in your face, You will find safe harbor soon, you will win this tortuous race. You think I don’t see you, you think I never answer your mortal appeals, You think I have no concept on how to grease your earthly wheels; But I hold you in My Hands, your fate is secure as it could be, Soon you will be translated, and you and I will be as happy as can be. Hold fast, hold tight, and continue until the end, Don’t give in, don’t give up, and don’t worry that you have sinned; I spread My Arms on the Cross, I died for you, I suffered so that you could live, Thus, you will live in Eternity because of the sacrifice that I chose to give. I love you and I won’t let you go, My Spirit will fill you in these last of days, While the rain pours down from the skies, you will feel the sun’s healing rays; Stay steadfast, and don’t surrender, the attacks of the enemy will soon transpire, Look up, persevere – my blissful Eternity with you is My Desire! Brethren, go forth and conquer with what little you have while we still can! Your pal, Humbly Sooooooooooooo Spirit-led, Humbly, words our Lord wanted known. Thank you for not holding back inspiration that honors God's promises and love ~ ~your words, announcing: "Stay steadfast, and don’t surrender, the attacks of the enemy will soon transpire, Look up, persevere – my blissful Eternity with you is My Desire! Lovely, timely and reflecting the heart of Christ! A wonderful encouragement to our souls! TR Words from above to lift all our spirits! Thank You Lord  for the talent and gift You have given Humbly, that encourage and bless his, and all our hearts. It is as though the beloved speaks to us, thank you for sharing what the Father gave you! Thank you for reminding us that He is truly totally aware of each of us and loves us so completely. It is truly time to go home …. :prayer-hands: thank you, humbly! ...and yes, i thank our Lord for blessing us through having our brother in Christ share this with us! i'd like to share it with my daughter who is currently struggling mentally and physically (& therefore emotionally & spiritually)...i may try to print it and offer it to her to read...she gets where she rejects all that is good in her life- God & family, etc, but i think that part is in the process of getting much better, praise God, so she might actually read this- i think we are just dealing with side effects of medication changes now currently...if she won't read it, i will still share it with my hubby and any other Believer the Lord lays on my heart... thanks again, Humbly, for letting God love through you for fair use just came across this song & thought it fit well with Humbly's writing here, so i thought i'd share... That was very apropo gratefulforgrace! I hope you don't mind if I add on a little more ... NAVIGATING VALIANTLY AGAINST THE WIND The winds and gales are whipping around, Contemporary signs are colliding with Prophetic Lore, Events are unraveling just as the Good Book says, And we’re seeing things we’ve never seen before. The enemy is fuming in blustery rage, Exerting such ferocity in this final barrage, The unrelenting onslaught will soon conclude, Its vestiges relegated to an ephemeral mirage. Although our sails are tattered, they are still on the mast, We’re not giving up and we’re not giving in, We won’t be moved nor ever dissuaded, We’re NAVIGATING VALIANTLY AGAINST THE WIND. This voyage has encountered merciless storms, Multitudinous tides have been steadfastly braved, Our adversary has unleashed punishing torrents, But our expedition has survived each infernal wave. The penetrating rain has been incessantly severe, And our faith has been painstakingly tested, We know our Hope is upon the horizon, Still, there are seas to endure before we are rested. Although our sails are tattered, they are still on the mast, We’re not giving up and we’re not giving in, We won’t be moved nor ever dissuaded, We’re NAVIGATING VALIANTLY AGAINST THE WIND. The Season is now fully-upon us, Trying to engulf us within its tumultuous grasp, Yet we are totally safeguarded from Neptune’s wrath, Sheltered impenetrably within our Captain’s grasp. While treading water awaiting Safe Harbor, Conviction protects every believer from loss, Capsizing never even crosses our minds, Our Destiny was secured at the foot of the Cross. Although our sails are tattered, they are still on the mast, We’re not giving up and we’re not giving in, We won’t be moved nor ever dissuaded, We’re NAVIGATING VALIANTLY AGAINST THE WIND. God bless you all! Humbly :amen: And may God bless you abundantly, too! I re-read these encouraging words and am lifted above my fears! At times my fears are seemingly without number! Knowing and believing that our days in this life are surely coming to a close though not quickly enough, with each passing day eternity seems to grow ever brighter! Though our ever present sin nature continues to manifest itself telling us we are not worthy to enter into His rest, His cross reminds us otherwise! None of us is worthy, none of us is perfect, none of us is holy, none of us exhibits the attributes of God! Christ alone is our salvation! Our resolve should always be to keep our eyes on Christ for He is the author and finisher of our faith which by itself is powerful, add to this that focusing upon Christ will also allow us a window into His heart! God's job is to be the I AM, our job is to be found pleasing in His sight! No matter what that looks like and as often as we can! As we often hide behind our fears, He calls us mighty in valour! TR
