📢 Forum Update -  Hello everyone! I've made an improvement to the forum that should make following active discussions much easier. Beginning today, forum topics will display the most recent replies first (while keeping the original topic post at the top), so you no longer have to navigate through multiple pages to find the latest conversation. This change also helps improve the browsing experience in long-running discussions with many pages of replies. If you notice anything that doesn't seem to be working correctly or have any feedback, please let me know. — Richard G.

"OUR FUTURE REWARDS"

 OUR FUTURE REWARDS

               By A.W. Tozer

Every man shall receive his own reward.
               1 Corinthians 3:8

Our  motives  in  the  Christian  life  should  be both
right and genuine. God is the Faithful One. We are to love Him
and  serve  Him  because  He  is  God -- not  because of the
gracious  things  He  does  for  us  or  for  the  rewards  He
              promises us!

However, it should be said that God does not expect us
to forget or ignore  the gracious future promises He has
made to us.  It is a glorious truth that if we believe God
and honor His Word, if we walk by faith in love and
obedience, there will be eternal rewards for each of us in
that great coming day.  The rewards will differ.  Wisdom
and  knowledge  and love reside in Him who is our God.
He will make the right judgments for His people.

I for one will not be surprised if some of God's faithful
people serving Him today should rise as high and shine as
brightly as the heroes of faith listed in the book of
              Hebrews.

I say that in all truthfulness, because I do not think that
all of the heroes of faith are dead and gone!

              Yours in Christ,
              Paul N. F.

Well, I didn't find an informative video, but here's what google had to say:

The Old Farmer's Almanac, which began publishing full moon names in the 1930s, notes that some Eastern Native American tribes call April's full moon the "pink moon" due to its connection with early spring wildflowers.

@terry

Yes, I heard on the news its name came from pink Phlox, a lovely sweet-smelling flower.

The moon is not pink, just as a "blue moon" is not blue.

Thanks.  You tube had offered me a video about a pink moon on Passover but I didn't watch.  I'll go see if I can find one.

Picture of Passover Moon over southern California at 8:00 PM. It has a slight pink tint to the color. I'm not sure what a pink moon means but here is a copy.
