Five Doves, Steve Mullin (15 June 2025)
"My sheep know my voice and they follow me!"

This is a great little God nugget. Different people attempt to call the sheep they are completely ignored. When the shepherd calls them, they come running!

Dr. Barry speculates rapture on 8th or 9th of Av, August 2 or 3.  Suits me.

@terry

I like the short ones!

From Google: "Tisha B'Av, the ninth day of the Jewish month of Av, is recognized as the saddest day on the Jewish calendar. It is a day of mourning for tragedies across Jewish history, most particularly the destruction and loss of the first and second Temple and Jerusalem nearly 2,000 years ago."

"... according to Jewish tradition, the 9th of Av (Tisha B'Av), which has historically been a day of mourning and fasting... is prophesied to one day be transformed into a day of joy, gladness, and cheerful celebrations.

Zechariah's Prophecy:
The prophet Zechariah speaks of this transformation, stating that the fast days, including the "fast of the fifth month" (which is the 9th of Av), "shall become occasions for joy and gladness, happy festivals for the House of Judah." This prophetic vision gives hope for a future where mourning will be replaced by celebration."
