These posts mentioning the twinkling of an eye reminded me of something that happened probably 20 years ago. I was visiting my sister-in-laws’ mother Sophie, who very near to her death. I was close to her just talking and all of a sudden I felt a spark-like feeling in my eye and she kind of gasped and turned her head away slightly, so I knew she witnessed it. I thought about the twinkle in the eye rapture verse at that time and I thought maybe the Lord caused that to happen as an encouragement for Sophie. I never shared this with anyone including Sophie or my sister-in-law, who attended a church that didn’t teach the rapture. I don’t know how this pertains to the rapture or timing of but I definitely think it is related to the twinkling of an eye verse somehow. I do know the Lord encourages us in times of great need!!
