For those of you who were traumatized by your high school algebra class experience, my apologies in advance.  Lol.

I have been doing some pondering about how close we are and what it might mean, in practical terms of time, if we were down to the final minute or two, in a scaled approach.  Here is how I scaled it.

Started from the assumption that from Adam to the return of Christ to earth will be 6,000 years.  Then, converted that down to the one-day-is-as-a-thousand-years, so six 24-hour days is the other scale representing the same time of Adam to Christ's return.

I calculated days for the 6000 years as follows: 6000 years X 365.25 days/year = 2,191,500 days from Adam to the return of Christ to earth as six millennia.

I calculated  minutes for the six days as follows: 6 days X 24 hours/day X 60 min/hour = 8640 minutes from Adam to the return of Christ as six days.

Now to the proportional ratio.  I wanted to know if there were only 1 minute of time left in the hypothetical 6-day clock, what would be the proportional equivalent of time on the 6000-year clock.  You set up the proportion and solve for X.  (I know just that last sentence has the capability to elicit some very bad memories...my apologies.)

1 minute is to 8640 minutes (number of minutes in 6 days) as X days is to 2,191,500 days (number of days in 6,000 years) .  If you work the equation to solve for X, the answer is just under 254 days.

That means that using the six-day clock to represent the full scaled amount of time from Adam to Jesus' return, for every "minute" that remains to be fulfilled in that six days, it equates to approximately 254 calendar days.

I have read where some say that they felt like the Lord had shown them a while back that we were being given the two minute warning.  Using my speculative analysis, the two minute warning would proportionally translate into around 509 days, or about a year and 8 months.

For you non-mathematical folks, the bottom line in this speculative analysis is that for every minute left in the 6-day time period, there are about 254 days left in the 6,000 year period.  So if we assume we will be gone no later than the spring of 2021 to protect the 80-year fig tree generation premise of Christ's return no later than 2028 (80 years from May 14, 1948), we must be very close to or perhaps even in the final two minutes.

Of course, all of this is speculative and the reality is we could hear that trumpet blow at any moment.  Maranatha!!!

Let it be so!  I'll forgive the algebraic nightmare.

Indeed no matter what starting point or advantage of perspective we employ, we constantly are being led to the conclusion that our time here is short lived.   That's a good thing!

As God continues to orchestrate the seasons, days and even minutes until our departure it seems to me that we must keep in mind that the Lord didn't arrive at the Rapture's time based on mathematical convergence.  But rather something of a more intuitive and personal nature.

As stated on another thread, only the Lord could determine when the cup of man's iniquity would He consider as being full!  For sure the Lord is exact, precise and even mathematical in His construct of this realm.  And He is truly a God of order.  Bur order does not define God, God defines order.

I appreciate your mining for spiritual gems.  For those that hear what the Spirit is speaking to the Church, we shall not be taken unawares or be surprised, for this is our Blessed Hope!  We may end up being surprised by His timing, but not by His plans.
