Indeed we can err with the prophetic spectrum! Either by disavowing the realm of the prophetic altogether or entertaining the opposite extreme! IE: finding a demon under every rock so to speak! Whether we choose to credit the depravity of men or of Angel's, we have always suffered evil and dark times spiritually! Ideally, prophetic indulgences given unto men by God serve to give us warnings and testimony of God's omniscience! Specific details to explain the workings of evil in my opinion seem to come from the heart of men glorifying hidden knowledge! Aside from events affecting worldwide events of time and space, prophetic messages are usually simple, straightforward and specific in nature! As only God knows the details of future events! Sadly, many involved and detailed prophetic messages are simply hyperbolic distractions! TR All to say, that forward thinking of men cannot replace true prophetic disclosure! TR Well said! Also, I think when a prophesy is spoken, it does not contradict Scripture, I notice as well, the profound 'simple words' spoken . . When there is an overwhelming amount of details and full interpretation is absent, what's the point?! I have also stated on several occasions that I do not have the gift of interretation, I must clarify! God gives interpretation to individuals! That's the way Godly interpretation works!
