Knowing them … they would of made an excuse not to send them or  they would have sent me some other X-ray of another small dog.  I agree they should get “some money” since after all I did bring him there for help.  I’m getting almost half back $1,093 … while they are keeping $1,383.92 (she is justifying this is for trying to find out what is wrong).   But I caught a few of their workers (one vet doctor and another assistant in the office) verbally say they only did an x-ray of his stomach region and now they are backpedaling with claiming they saw no blockage in his throat and even this “investigating” doctor in her lies over the phone conversations.  She tried to cover up their error by saying “well, we normally don’t look under the tongue of dogs like we do cats” … this is an usual dog yada yada yada …. but if they did … they would have instantly of seen the fibers caught … since my local vet said they were wrapped around his tongue like dental floss!   And this “investigator” doctor said she knows and worked personally with my local vet so when she saw his name and the invoices I emailed her along with the picture of the blockage fibers he removed … she knew they blew it BIG time.

Well  like I said … trying to get blood out of the stone with these people is accurate. B-)     You would think they would want to do right but no siree … they called me to issue the credit and the number was lower than yesterday’s figure.    I said oh nooooo the investigator doctor and I agreed to $1,093 not $1,066.  So I was placed on hold and then the investigator doctor got on the line … she tried to pull a fast one and said well that was just “a quote” I gave you.  I said (I called her by her first name) nope … we both agreed to $1,093 … if you’re going to pull this … then I want half of $2,476.92 … which will be $1,238.46.  Then I heard this big sigh … and said alright … make it $1,093.  Then she switched me back over to the finance office and the lady there “claimed she will processed the credit” but I have yet to see the receipt post to my email.  I think they will be taking their sweet ol’ time ….

Can you pray they will process the credit today?  Thanks

Well I finally got the email receipt … but it shows BOTH numbers  so I had to call and say which number was credited back to me??  They claim the higher number.  So we shall soon see …

Here’s my couch potato … he thinks if his head is covered nobody can see him :mdrmdr:

Falsifying documentation is illegal (even in the animal medical records), so they didn’t see any evidence of esophageal blockage because they did not take shots of the esophageal area. The stomach may have been a bit bloated because that much fiber in that small body would have seeped into the upper stomach as well, probably near or even pushing h rough the lower esophageal sphincter. It certainly sounds like they lied, falsified documentation, and gave an incorrect diagnosis from incorrect assessment and the delay could have been a lot worse except for the prayers and God’s mercy.

Personally I believe they are short staff … the mega banner sign outdoors says it and when you call them the AI answering service says the same “we are short staff do to covid …” … so you have to wonder if the knowledgeable workers resigned.  They did nothing but give me the run around and kept changing the diagnose of what was wrong.  When they said he was poisoned … that’s when I feel they couldn’t figure out what was really wrong and when I asked what toxins “they found” in his system they wouldn’t tell me.  He didn’t eat for them … even though they tried to get him to eat.  Heck he couldn’t even open up his mouth … the fibers were wrapped around his tongue so I think he was really neglected with care the whole time.  They normally don’t release a pet until they start eating … so why was he released?   The only thing they did do was give him I.V. liquids since he was dehydrated and a stomach x-ray … but to justify $2,476.92 for doing that?   So out of that … they are holding on to $1,383.92 and I’m still waiting for the $1,093 credit to post to my account …even though they said they processed the credit yesterday.
