todd, thankfully his work is being pretty awesome about all of this (but i think partly cuz cdc lessened quarentine stuff since nov.) - once they knew he might have it, they wouldn't let him go back til 5 days (it took 4 to get results!) from the day of a positive test, but sounds like they are going to pay him some kind of covid pay!...dr. wanted 10 days from symptoms (or 5 days and a mask all the time for 5 days) and it all worked out to be ok with tomorrow going back (w/o mask except they already had them do that just when have to briefly go into office)...glad you are well now and thanks for prayers! guess if can test positive that long, that's why my dr. knew i'd prob test positive after a week and w/o fever- i didn't really care about testing- thought might be helpful only if i got worse so they'd already know and might do something to help me (& protect themselves)- hubby did not warn me that it hurt though- just one nostril did- ouch- i can't imagine having to do that regularly!! arthur- thanks...i forgot that i'd remembered that i'd been on facebook in past and got on ritan group there but i don't think i posted much or went there much- it was really different to me from the old ritan website...anyway, i woulda had my info on there showing even though my fb page was prob private...i did not like fb...actually i think an old one of mine i never did get deleted right cuz forgot my login stuff and old email password is still there even though it was from like a decade ago...anyway...it's prob no biggie...i may add pic if ever feel like messing with it...i think hubby is just going to be a member vicariously thru me...i do feel like esp thru all this that this is our church & y'all are our friends & spiritual family...but i know God's working on us about being involved locally too- even just showing up consistently again can be encouraging to see each other to know there's other Believers- and some ppl don't have a spouse or family maybe and need the family of God- in person....of course it coulda even probably been there that we got sick from...but may've been from other excursions prior to that- who knows, it's everywhere apparently...yes, in person for all of us online here- meeting in person with Jesus in the air & meet each other for first time in person from on here too- awesome- can't wait- but guess we will...Dad knows best... p.s.s. kolleen maybe, idk, somebody recommended B&T brand homeopathic stuff in past and i did order some and have used at beginning and now again the "Bronchial & Breathing Aide" dissolving tablets and before my rx cough stuff i used "Daytime cough & bronchial syrup" even though i was concerned the alcohol would keep me awake (i'm weird opposite w/ lots stuff) cuz i only wanted it at nighttime actually...just in case anyone might need try these wanted to share in case i hadn't...glad we can all help each other out some... Yes, that was me gratfulforgrace :rose: What an ordeal your family has suffered, while trusting the Lord would bring you out to the other side. Thank You Father! Praise You Lord for their recovery. It is so sad to me to hear when doctors take that stand with the unvaccinated. While they mock the un-vaxxed, not knowing, realizing, believing or caring that thousands of lives all over the world are being drastically changed and lost. The very reason people who have become aware, and have been able in their circumstances, are saying no to the jabs; choosing to not take it. How odd when patients are more learned than their doctors, who so are deceived. Thanks Kolleen! He gave me a verse before we got sick and i didn't know why because i was feeling pretty calm and not afraid of anything specifically really (He'd already helped me "let go" of this body i've had some troubles with and recognize it's His more in the past year)...But He knew i was about to need this...and had me read the sticky note on the fridge and remember the first part that this was all i'd need to do in order to turn to Him and be comforted and lifted up...Psalm 56:3-4a but the only part i remembered and as far as i usually read was the first of 4 sticky notes "When I am afraid, I will trust in You." I had to let go again of my husband's life, too & trust all of Him completely to our Lord like He had me do a year and a half ago...And like in a very different life crisis i had almost 2 decades ago, when all i could pray was "I trust You" even though i didn't feel trusting, He was there and blessed me tremendously when i just acknowledged His goodness and faithfulness...He knew I'd need the reminder again, to give it all to Him and He helped me do that, and yes, thank You Lord for healing me and my family!!! Oops...that should read, we'll see you three in person, soon enough. His word is always good for those that believe, filled with multiplied blessings! TR my dr. just called to let me know i'm positive for COVID (took test thurs (20th) PM which was over a week after i knew i was sick- fever etc) and he nicely checked on me & told me to take multivits and esp zinc and vit d (he was too busy at appt chiding me about not taking vax to ask what i'd been taking since i'd been sick or to tell me to take those) he agreed that i sounded much better when i said i was and then informed me that in 4 weeks i could take the vaccine!!! i said "Noooo thank you." and he kinda laughed.... (just fyi any who might get this, i do still have a dry cough occasionally but did not take cough pills last nite and i did not wake up coughing...finished z pack and don't plan to use cough pills anymore as long as it doesn't get worse)...tomorrow it will have been 2 wks at least since had this...may break down and go get milk and bread if weather isn't too bad tomorrow...i don't want to get anybody sick though- seems like if true can test + for a month, might still be infectious...anyway, thought i'd share...still wish i'd known how/what to say even on phone- i did say something about lots of prayers when said i felt much better...i'm not good on the spot w/ knowing what to say when and how these days) gratefulforgrace, if you'd like to keep up with something natural if the cough lingers, drinking a hot cup of water with ACV and honey to taste, daily, would help a lot. You could also add a touch of lemon, concentrate or fresh. I shared that with my daughter when she had covid. When she spoke with a nurse through work, the nurse encouraged it also. You may have mentioned this, but just in case. If you have grocery pickup available anywhere, that would be helpful in getting what you need, without the exertion. When you have a cough its good to stay away from milk products, ice cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. it will cause you to cough even more. Like Kolleen said squeeze some lemon in hot water and add some sugar or honey or add the lemon to tea helps dry up the mucus. Also 1 Mucinex pill will clear up the chest fluid quickly. :yes:
