I’m sorry you’re going thru this …

Don’t envy the wicked … please read Psalm 37 and this will comfort you greatly.

Can you use blankets to wrap the food boxes or plastic/metal containers around to keep warm until they give you the proper bags?

Do these high rise buildings have door men?  Are they actually looking for proof you are vaxx?  Can you take the stairs?  Or is there someone patrolling that as well?

Are you permitted to go into grocery stores?  If so … perhaps you can ask customer service if they don’t require being vaxx and if they have job openings for a “virtual shopper” for the customers that order on-line and want their groceries brought to their vehicles.  The store will supply the special phone to scan the items.  I’m thinking of doing this myself and looking into it.  It will be a lot safer and no wear and tear on your vehicle and having to pay the high cost of gasoline, etc.

I’m just trying to visualize the high rise apartments.  Here’s another thought … if the security is only on the main floor … if you can get past security guards to take the stairs.  Then perhaps when you get to the 2nd floor landing you can find the elevator on that floor and if no security guarding the elevator … then use it for the rest of the way up and then returning down just make sure you press 2nd floor :mdrmdr:  and then get off and then walk that one flight down?

Heidi, how strange DD wouldn't supply what you need to keep the food warm. Customers aren't fond of cold food, and that would not be your fault. I know first days on a job can be taxing, but this seems exceptional. In job searching, did this seem to be all that was available? I like Geri's suggestion if that's a possibility?

If you have other choices available Heidi, find peace; follow peace in whatever line of work is there to choose from. The Lord would want you to be in peace, not stress.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Ro 8:31

So we can confidently say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me? Heb 13:6

:prayer-hands: Father please straighten Heidi's path for her to see and think clearly. We know confusion is not from You and we ask that You will turn this around for Heidi's good and for Your Glory! We stand on Your promises to provide for each one of us and we ask only in Jesus matchless and mighty name, Amen.

(Hugs) for you Heidi. God bless.

Thank you Geri for the advice.

I should have mentioned that I don't use elevators because I got stuck twice. I can't handle being inside one.

If the client wants their food delivered to their apartment, I won't be able to get inside an elevator and get it to them. The client might get frustrated, I don't know.

It did occur to me to buy a towel while I was at the store,  wrap the food in it and put it in a box. I asked them if they have empty boxes. they said they threw them all away so I just left.

I will look into virtual shopping. thank you

Oh ok I didn’t realize it was a fear factor with the elevator.  Ya … seriously check into the “virtual shopper” … I was speaking to grocery stocker 2 days ago getting the latest on what foods are coming in and what isn’t.  I really like the Mint Chocolate Chip Turkey Hill Ice Cream and when I went to get another 1/2 gallon they were out of it.  So I asked if he has any in the freezers in the back storage room.  Then we got to talking and he mentioned “virtual shoppers’ are in demand … this particular store gets like 50 orders a day and they can’t find the help to shop and place the items in the bags to fulfill for their on-line requests.  He’s encouraging me to do it.  I then asked does the store require being vaxx … he said he got a money offer incentive to do so … so he is double vaxx and still wears the mask.   I said any reactions to the vaxx?  He said the first shot nothing but the 2nd he did get a reaction but he is fine now … but he is a tall/skinny guy.  I told him I can’t get vaxx I will be violently ill and mention any flu vaxx I’m stuck with the flu for at least a week and I rarely get the flu  once a decade for 1 day.  Even a tetanus shot I need in 2 separate doses or I’m VERY sick.  I told him I’m rarely sick.  Then he said I don’t think they are demanding everyone to get vaxx.  So I will look into it since I hate to travel far and you want to be in the industry where its stable … people always need food and booze. :mdrmdr:   Whereas working for clothing stores like “Home Goods” etc. can close their doors in a heart beat.  I’m praying that things get better for you.
