President Donald Trump has an eyebrow-raising new decoration in the White House — a framed photo of his iconic mug shot. Several eagle-eyed people spotted the mug shot in a photo posted Thursday on social media by Margo Martin – special assistant to President Trump and communications adviser. Trump's viral mug shot is proudly hung just outside of the Oval Office in a hallway that leads to the Cabinet Room. World leaders and other politicians visiting the president at the Oval Office can see the ornate gold frame with an issue of the New York Post featuring Trump's mug shot from 2023. Trump's iconic mug shot is set near portraits of America's greatest presidents such as George Washington and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Trump's defiant mug shot was taken in August 2023 when he was arrested and booked at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. Trump was arrested on charges that he illegally attempted to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. In the booking photo, Trump is glaring directly at the camera with furrowed eyebrows. Instead of being ashamed of the mug shot, Trump embraced the indictments against him as a "badge of courage." Trump said in June 2023, "I consider it a great badge of courage. I'm being indicted for you, and I believe the 'you' is more than 200 million people that love our country that are out there, and they love our country. This is a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time." In a roundtable with black voters last June, Trump said, "The mug shot is the best ever — it just beat Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra by a lot. That's the No. 1 mug shot of all time. According to Devon & Dustin Fox Homes website, “big changes” are happening in the Washington, DC, housing market as people are seeing an increase in homes being listed and “homes are sitting longer.” The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is investigating potential Social Security fraud, and its head Elon Musk posted startling information from its database. “Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE!” Musk began, posting an image of a chart with age brackets going all the way up to 369 years old. This coincides with remarks Musk made on February 11. “Yes, there are FAR more ‘eligible’ social security numbers than there are citizens in the USA,” Musk added. “This might be the biggest fraud in history.” ...this is just one more example of the potential fraud within existing systems, which the Trump administration hopes to weed out. I mean, there are billions of dollars of checks that are going out to people that either are not U.S. citizens — don’t deserve it … And so I think what you get to find with DOGE and what’s happening with Elon Musk and his team is they’re going to find all kinds of abuses … particularly inside of Medicare.... “All they have to do is go after the fraud,” he added. The Department of Government Efficiency announced on Monday that it had uncovered a significant tracking gap in the Department of Treasury's funding. The DOGE explained in a post on X that the Treasury Department uses an "identification code" to link its payments to budget line items. However, it discovered that this tracking code was optional for approximately $4.7 trillion in expenses and was often left blank, rendering the funds nearly impossible to trace. "The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process)," the DOGE wrote. "In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going." According to the DOGE's website, within the first month of Trump's second term, the newly formed agency has already saved American taxpayers $55 billion. According to reports, the committee revealed that $241 million in taxpayer dollars were used to study transgender surgeries and treatments on animals. What is perhaps more, former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases chief Anthony Fauci gave the green light to the bulk of these cruel and unusual experiments. ...Testifying at an Oversight hearing earlier this month, Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy at White Coat Waste Project Justin Goodman testified that the $241 million spent on transgender animal testing is merely the “floor” of this so-called research. Goodman added that it is extremely difficult to navigate the federal databases to uncover this research. “You essentially need a degree in Information Technology to navigate the federal spending databases to find any of this stuff,” he said. “So what you found is we’re not being very transparent with what we’re spending these funds on?” Crane asked. Goodman responded, “Not at all, and it’s by design.” This followed a White Coat Waste investigation in December uncovering more than $10 million in taxpayer-funded grants being wasted on these transgender animal projects. The “National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and likely other agencies,” WCW noted, “are paying university labs across the country to perform invasive surgeries and hormone therapies on lab animals to mimic gender transitions in painful and deadly experiments.”
