Over the past several decades, billions of hard-earned American taxpayer dollars have been funneled into left-wing initiatives around the globe through the United States Agency for International Development. Established in 1961, the agency was intended to administer foreign aid and assistance to developing nations, but it has since apparently become an unscrutinized black hole of waste, fraud, and abuse. BRUSSELS, Belgium — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at the NATO headquarters on Wednesday called for an end to the Ukraine War and in a major departure from the Biden administration, did not announce any new aid for Ukraine. “We are meeting at a critical moment. As the war approaches its third anniversary, our message is clear: The bloodshed must stop and this war must end,” he said in a statement at a meeting of nations who support Ukraine known as the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG). He called a return to Ukraine’s pre-2014 borders — before Russia’s annexation of Crimea — “an unrealistic objective,” and an “illusory goal” that would “only prolong the war and cause more suffering.” He also said the U.S. “does not believe that NATO membership of Ukraine is a realistic outcome of a negotiated settlement,” and that any security guarantee must be backed by capable European and non-European troops. He also made clear that as part of any security guarantee, no U.S. troops would be deployed to Ukraine. To get Russia to negotiate, he said President Trump would wield pressure by driving down energy prices that have been fueling the Russian war machine. But Hegseth made clear that it was time for Europe to “provide the overwhelming share of future lethal aid and nonlethal aid to Ukraine.” Hegseth also made clear that the U.S. could no longer be the “primary guarantor of security in Europe.” “...the United States will no longer tolerate an imbalanced relationship which encourages dependency,” he said. “Rather, our relationship will prioritize empowering Europe to own responsibility for its security." The Chinese spy balloon that Joe Biden allowed to pass across the continental US in 2023 was loaded with US technology. This latest discovery highlights the failure of US technology to be used by the Chinese for military use. In January 2023, the Biden administration knew about the Chinese spy balloon traversing across the continental United States, from Alaska to the Carolinas, but sought to conceal this from the American public. Joe Biden and Mark Milley knew the surveillance balloon was over the US, yet Biden chose to stand down, say nothing, and allow the Chinese to collect information on US military bases. The balloon soared over nuclear silos and military installations across the US with Joe Biden’s full approval. The balloon was shot down over the Atlantic just off the coast of the Carolinas days later after it completed its path over US military bases. According to the Pentagon, the spy balloon carried explosives to self-detonate, was 200 feet tall, and weighed thousands of pounds. The Biden Administration knew about the spy balloon but sought to conceal it from the American public. Retired General Mark Milley knew about the Chinese balloon but followed the lead of the Biden regime and kept it from the public. It was not immediately apparent what the “large scale social deception” was. “Looks like Radical Left Reuters was paid $9,000,000 by the Department of Defense to study ‘large scale social deception,'” President Donald Trump posted on X. “GIVE BACK THE MONEY, NOW!” Approximately 75,000 federal workers have accepted the White House’s “deferred resignation” offer to take a buyout while still being paid through September, according to the Office of Personnel Management. The offer’s deadline closed Wednesday after a federal judge ruled to end a temporary pause to the program. The Boston-based judge’s order in the challenge filed by a group of labor unions was a significant legal victory for the Republican president. When asked by a reporter how soon Trump wanted the Department of Education to be closed, Trump criticized how the United States education system was ranked 40th compared to other countries but ranked number one in terms of “costs per pupil.” “Oh, I’d like it to be closed immediately,” Trump answered. “Look, the Department of Education is a big con job. According to a report from The Washington Post, the Trump administration is planning around 9,000 job cuts at the agency specifically targeting employees who are still on their probation period. Members of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) entered the IRS building on Thursday, triggering panic among leftists who fear a downsizing of the agency notorious for harassing millions of hardworking Americans. The changes are quite a contrast from the approach of the Biden administration. Under the terms of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, the agency received an additional $80 billion in funding to hire another 87,000 employees. Yet even this was not enough. Last month, they requested another $20 billion allocation from Congress to fund the hiring of another 14,000 employees in order to harass taxpayers and investigate “discriminatory practices.”
