After many denials he would do so, Joe Biden granted his son Hunter Biden a blanket pardon in the federal gun and tax cases against him Sunday night. The pardon, which covers any federal crimes by Hunter from 2014 to 2024, ends a case that was blown open by IRS whistleblowers who spoke out after the Biden Justice Department slow-walked an investigation into Hunter, allowing the statute of limitations to pass on some charges and offering Hunter a sweetheart plea deal that was ultimately rejected by an incredulous federal judge in Delaware resulting in the appointment of a special counsel by Attorney General Merrick Garland in the case. Incredibly, Garland appointed the same federal prosecutor who sabotaged the Hunter case, Robert Weiss, to be special counsel. The pardon absolves Hunter of any possible drug involvement, sex trafficking, lobbying, bribery, foreign agent or other crimes involving Ukraine and several other foreign governments or companies including China. The start date of 2014 coincides with the year Hunter joined the board of the Ukraine energy firm Burisma in an influence peddling scheme alleged to have involved Joe Biden. Hunter was later convicted on three felony charges related to the purchase of a gun in June of 2024 (AP excerpt): Hunter Biden was convicted Tuesday of all three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018 when, prosecutors argued, the president’s son lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs. In September, Hunter pled guilty to tax charges (NPR excerpt): President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, pleaded guilty Thursday to tax charges in a surprise move just before jury selection was set to start in his federal criminal trial in Los Angeles. The last-minute change of plea headed off what would likely have been a painful legal and personal ordeal filled with sordid details of the younger Biden’s life when he was addicted to crack cocaine. The case centered on Biden’s failure to pay $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019, even as he spent millions of dollars on what prosecutors described as an “extravagant lifestyle” replete with escorts, luxury hotels and a sex club membership. …Hunter Biden was facing nine counts in the Los Angeles case: three felony counts for tax evasion and filing false returns, plus six misdemeanor counts. Statement from President Joe Biden CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said Monday on “News Central” that President Joe Biden tarnished his legacy with his pardon of his son Hunter. "I mean, Joe Biden, let’s be clear here, he lied to us for a long time. He said categorically, ‘I will not pardon my son.’ He said I will take it off the table. And he couched it in very high-minded terminology, ‘I respect the Justice Department. I respect the jury’s verdict.’ Well, now he’s gone back on that.” https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2024/12/02/cnns-honig-hunter-pardon-will-tarnish-joe-bidens-legacy/ Following the news on Sunday night that Joe Biden granted his son, Hunter Biden, a blanket pardon in the federal gun and tax cases against him, Scott Jennings joined a CNN panel and unleased on Scott Jennings: “Joe Biden is leaving office, making the strongest possible case for Donald Trump that anybody could possibly make it.” “Never again do I want to hear ‘Oh, Donald Trump’s a liar, you can’t believe anything he says.’ ‘Donald Trump will abuse his power.’ ‘Donald Trump will only use the system to benefit himself and his family,’ and so on and so forth.” “Never again.” “We are sitting on the biggest coverup of who-knows-what crimes, and Joe Biden amazingly knows exactly, roughly, when it started. He knows just about when it all started.” “He’s leaving office in complete and total disgrace. He is a liar and there is no other way to spin this today.” “This has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the character of Joe Biden.” https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/12/scott-jennings-torches-cnn-panel-joe-biden-pardoning/ Joe Biden discussed pardoning his son Hunter 6 months ago while he was publicly claiming he would not issue Hunter a pardon or commute his sentences. On Sunday, outgoing White House resident Joe Biden issued a full and unconditional pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, absolving him of any federal crimes committed between 2014 and 2024. Hunter was facing federal tax fraud charges in California and felony gun charges in Delaware. The indictment detailed a “four-year scheme” to avoid the $1.4+ million tax obligations he owed between 2016 and 2019 and to file false returns. According to NBC News, Joe Biden discussed pardoning Hunter back in June when Hunter was convicted, however, he told his aides he would lie to the public about his pardon plans. Biden lied to the public (shocker). https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/12/biden-discussed-pardoning-hunter-june-told-aides-he/ President-elect Donald Trump met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at his Mar-A-Lago estate in West Palm Beach on Friday. The dinner, which was not previously announced on Trudeau’s public itinerary, comes amidst Trump’s decision to impose a 25% tariff on all products from Canada and Mexico in response to the “illegal alien invasion.” In a statement made on Truth Social, Trump declared that these tariffs would remain in effect “until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” Just two hours after Trump posted the tariff threats, Trudeau called Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, and the two spoke about trade and security at the border. Not satisfied, desperate Trudeau boarded a plane to Florida for a face-to-face discussion. The meeting took a lighter turn when, according to Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, Trump humorously suggested that if Canada cannot sustain its economy without what he claimed was a $100 billion annual exploitation of the U.S., perhaps it should consider becoming the 51st state. This comment reportedly came after Trudeau expressed concerns about the detrimental impact of new tariffs on the Canadian economy. Doocy reported on Fox News: “Tonight we’re getting some new details about that Trump-Trudeau dinner from two people who were at the table. We’re told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would kill the Canadian economy, Trump joked to him that if Canada can’t survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion per year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state, and Trudeau can become its governor.” https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/12/trump-drops-hammer-trudeau-tariffs-if-canada-cant/ Breaking: Joe Biden Pardons Son Hunter Biden in Gun and Tax Cases–And Any Federal Crimes From 2014 Through 2024:

Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted. Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form. Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.....
No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong.

Last December Hunter Biden was hit with a 9-count indictment filed in the Central District of California: Tax evasion, failure to file/pay taxes, and false/fraudulent tax return.

He emphasized that both neighboring nations have the power to address the issue, demanding immediate action to resolve the “long simmering problem.”
