Soon after Walz was declared the vice presidential candidate on the Democrat ticket, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune highlighted the Feeding Our Future crime ring as one of his major “vulnerabilities” going forward. Joe Teirab, a former federal prosecutor who said he “helped investigate and prosecute the Feeding Our Future fraudsters,” said “Walz was asleep at the wheel, allowing a quarter-BILLION in fraud. Teirab, who is running to represent a Minneapolis suburb in the U.S. House as a Republican, warned voters to “imagine fraud at the scale nationwide” if Walz becomes the vice president after his running was declared." In a follow-up post, Teirab added that it “isn’t just the Feeding Our Future case.” “Over half a billion dollars has been lost by his Administration so far with instances of waste and/or fraud in child care programs, the frontline worker bonus pay program, unemployment benefits, Medicaid programs, and more,” the conservative congressional hopeful wrote. “There was this massive fraud under his watch. To this day, he has never fired anybody, nobody’s been rebuked.” Minnesota Gov. The Chinese military stormed the square, rolling their tanks over the protesters and indiscriminately killing them. “There were tanks rolling into crowds of people at high speed, crushing them into literally hamburger,” Population Research Institute President Steven Mosher, one of the first Western scholars allowed into China, told Breitbart News Tonight in 2019, the 30th anniversary of the killings. “The streets had to be scraped afterwards with bulldozers to get off the remains of the human beings who were killed by these tanks that ran over them. The butchery was horrible.” Mosher recalled that Chinese troops also went into hospitals, killing those who survived on the streets and were receiving medical treatment. The wounded were taken out — even those who were on life support who shouldn’t have been disconnected from their IVs — were all taken away in army trucks and never heard from again,” he explained. No complete tally of the lives lost in the incident exists. Diplomats estimated at the time that about 10,000 people were killed, according to documents unearthed in 2017. “He wanted to have a date he’ll always remember,” the Washington Post reported Gwen Walz saying of her husband’s choice of wedding date at the time, apparently confirming that they chose the anniversary deliberately. The governor has discussed being in China in 1989 in the aftermath of the slaughter, telling reporters in 2014 that he felt it was “more important than ever” to be in China after the killing. The fact that he says Minnesota is going to be a sanctuary state, the first one in the country, that he would invest in a ladder company to help people climb over the wall. That he’s giving illegal immigrants health care, free college education, and you know, is doing everything he can to try and bring that border up to Minnesota places every Minnesotan at risk,” he said, describing Walz as “truly dangerous” to not only his state but to the entire country. According to the Examiner, Zaman participated in a Ramadan event organized by Walz in May 2019. In addition, the Washington Free Beacon reported that Walz attended an event in 2019 featuring a scholar with antisemitic views and support for terrorism against Israel.
