House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) is investigating who is really “calling the shots” under President Joe Biden’s leadership, issuing subpoenas to three little-known White House staffers while trying to determine if there has been a “shadow government” this whole time. “We’re looking to see who is actually calling the shots for Joe Biden,” Comer said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday. “I mean, I think it’s very evident that he isn’t able to serve as president, much less an additional four years, and we’ve all been asking the questions ‘Who is actually running the show? Who’s pulling the strings?'” he said, noting that Republicans have used their sources, including disgruntled Democrats, to identify three White House staffers, whom Comer described as the “gatekeepers for Joe Biden” who have “shielded him” from his cabinet secretaries as well as from the mainstream media. No one had ever heard of any of the three, including myself, prior to determining that these were the three to subpoena. We’re gonna bring them in and we’re gonna ask them questions and we’re gonna see if, in fact, there was a cover-up, number one, and number two, even worse, we’re gonna determine whether or not there’s been a shadow government,” Comer continued, as it has been apparent, he said, that “Biden has not been in charge for quite some time.” “After three years of Joe Biden, Watergate doesn’t look much different than jaywalking,” Comer said, noting that both the media and Deep State have continually covered up the financial crimes that the Biden family “has been committing for over two decades.” If we’ve got three or four low-level staffers that have been deciding what weapons to send Ukraine, how to do an executive order that limits drilling that leads to higher gas prices, which creates more inflation — if these three or four employees that no one’s ever heard of have been making those decisions, then I think that there are a lot of people that need to be held accountable,” Comer said, noting that the mainstream media has been complicit because personalities have “attacked any Republican that would suggest that Joe Biden wasn’t healthy, even as recently as when we were trying to get Robert Hur to release the audio tapes.” President Trump was shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. According to law enforcement, President Trump was grazed by a bullet. Trump grabbed his neck after he was hit. Statement: “President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.” The Secret Service said, “The former President is safe.” The shooter has not been formally identified at time of publishing. Trump appeared to have been grazed by at least one bullet but was alert and transported to a medical facility, where he is said to be safe and in stable condition. Amir Tsarfati: Trump was evacuated from the scene by members of the Secret Service and was recorded waving a fist in the air during the trip. Reports in the US: the suspect in the shooting at Trump was caught and killed. The Secret Service is now under scrutiny after an assassination attempt nearly succeeded on former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican 2024 presidential nominee. The shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was able to position himself on a rooftop with a direct line of sight to Trump and fire a bullet that went through his ear. The shooter was approximately 150 yards away from where Trump was speaking. Multiple witnesses also claimed they tried to flag the shooter to the Secret Service and police. The shooter was so close and visible that even some rally-goers spotted the shooter and took video as he was attempting to assassinate Trump. Another video appeared to showed a counter-sniper team with “eyes on the shooter” before he fired. Political commentator and former New York Police Department officer John Cardillo posted on X, “This looks really bad. This looks like the counter sniper team had eyes on the shooter, let him fire first, then returned fire.” Even the FBI is questioning how the Secret Service allowed the shooter to fire off several rounds, according to a senior FBI official during a press conference after the assassination attempt. The Secret Service was not present at the press conference — which CNN’s Kaitlin Collins called “stunning.” Conservative show host Dan Bongino, a former New York Police Department officer and Secret Service agent, claimed that Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has “repeatedly turned down requests” for more Secret Service protection for Trump. He also called the Secret Service’s performance a “catastrophic failure”: Actively communicating with a number of former colleagues from the Secret Service about the assassination attempt. This is an obviously catastrophic failure and NO excuses should be made, or even attempted. The failures are profound and questions must be answered about ground surveillance, air surveillance, post-stander support, and counter-sniper advance work and response. We have ONE job, and we came within inches of a deadly failure today. An uneventful failure is NOT a success. President Joe Biden is under fire for calling former President Donald Trump a “genuine threat to this nation” two weeks before an assassination attempt was made on him at a campaign rally. “Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat to everything America stands for,” Biden wrote in a June 28 X post. Just minutes before Trump’s ear was grazed by one of Crooks’ bullets on Saturday evening, Biden likened him to “a dictator” on his Facebook page. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) attributed the attempt on Trump’s life to him being characterized as an “authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs." The corporate media tell us Donald Trump is Hitler, is Mussolini, is a unique threat to democracy, a fascist, a dictator, a Russian spy who stole a presidential election, a rapist, an insurrectionist, and a traitor. The corporate media champion phony impeachments, cheer a federal raid on his home, and validate Joe Biden’s attempt to imprison him, bankrupt him, and take away his businesses… And now this same corporate media want us to tone down the rhetoric. They want the rhetoric toned down for only one reason: to avoid accountability—their own accountability and Joe Biden’s accountability for recently telling his donors to put a “bullseye” on Trump and for declaring Trump a “dictator” on the same night as the assassination attempt. The media (and Democrats) must be held accountable for a decade of assassination dog whistles. When you launch a dehumanization campaign backed by billions of corporate dollars against one man in a country of some 350 million people, you are knowingly targeting that man for assassination. After all… Is it not a moral imperative to assassinate the next Adolf Hitler, to assassinate the man who will end democracy as we know it, to assassinate a fascist who will ensure this is America’s final presidential election? Of course, it is. But never mind that Trump is none of those things… The media thinking is this: We can’t defeat him politically, we failed to imprison him, so let’s call him a “unique threat” to incite someone to shoot him and then, after the shooting, let’s blame the victim and then try to shame Orange Hitler’s MAGAHitlerTard followers into silence. The attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday comes after years of violent rhetoric from left-wing Hollywood celebrities who have used their fame to spread fantasies about physical harm being inflicted on the 45th president. Secret Service Rushes Trump out of Pennsylvania Rally After Shots Fired:
We are starting to get a clearer picture of what happened. A closer review of the video–Breitbart News is working on cutting it up clearly and will post here when it’s ready–shows that as the sound of gunshots are fired Trump had just turned his head. Then, he grabs his ear before he drops below the podium and Secret Service agents rushed the stage to his side. The Secret Service agents then say “Shooter is down” seconds later before they stand Trump up to walk him out. Trump is heard saying something about getting his shoes, and as blood is streaming down his face from his ear Trump can be seen pumping his fist in the air before he is escorted off the stage.
Per the Associated Press, Trump has released a statement saying he is “fine."
Trump is apparently being examined at a medical facility.
