NBC News was compelled to air a campaign ad from President Donald Trump on Sunday evening in response to Kamala Harris’s controversial appearance on “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) just days before the election, which violated the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Equal Time rule. During NBC’s Sunday night NASCAR coverage, former President Trump’s campaign ad was played, with Trump delivering a pointed message to voters. Wearing his iconic red “Make America Great Again” cap, Trump warned that electing Harris would bring “depression” to America, urging viewers to make their voices heard at the polls. This ad, airing across both NASCAR and NBC’s Sunday Night Football post-game coverage, provided Trump with a total of 120 seconds on the network—an apparent effort by NBC to meet the Equal Time rule’s requirements, according to The Hollywood Reporters. (WND News Center) — On the heels of confirmation from a Michigan state official that there are problems with Dominion voting machines being used in the 2024 election, a sheriff’s office in that state has confirmed it has provided information regarding various issues to state investigators in Texas. An investigation into the company that created the Dominion voting machines, which have been the subject of claims of malfunctioning in both the 2020 and 2024 elections, has been confirmed by a statement by the Michigan sheriff. The statement is from the Barry County sheriff’s office in Hastings, Michigan, and explains it has an “ongoing investigation into election related crimes” and that it has been going on since 2020. The office confirms it has “made referrals for criminal investigation to the Texas Attorney General’s Office.” That office, the statement confirms, “has opened a criminal investigation related to Dominion Voting Systems, Election Systems & Software, Hart InterCivic, and SolarWinds […].” Tens of thousands of voters nationwide ranked the economy, jobs, and immigration as their priority issues in an Associated Press Election Day exit poll — and the vast majority said they want “substantial change” in how the country is being run. In the AP VoteCast poll, which surveyed more than 110,000 voters across the U.S., 40 percent of respondents considered the economy and jobs to be “the most important problem facing the country,” the outlet reported. As voters exited the polls on Tuesday, roughly 20 percent said that their top issue was immigration, compared to just ten percent who said it was abortion. Even more notably, about 80 percent of the voters said they want at least “substantial change,” and about 25 percent said they want a “complete and total upheaval,” the AP found. A majority of voters are either “dissatisfied” or “angry” about the way things are going in the United States currently, an exit poll from CNN revealed. For even further perspective, those figures are worse than the RealClearPolitics average showing an average of 69.6 percent saying America is on the wrong track. Further, CNN exit polling showed that voters still maintain a sense of optimism, as 61 percent said America’s best days are in the future. However, one-third believe those days are in the past. 10:12 pm Central Time From Amir: The New York Times: IT’S OVER!
