New York Times bestselling author and Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer details in his new book how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is “using our openness and generosity against us” by sending thousands of future military pilots posing as civilians to the United States to learn how to fly. Schweizer’s latest exposé, The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon, delves into the little-known concern of Chinese pilots being sent to the U.S. for training with “virtually no oversight” before returning and serving in their own country’s military. “The People’s Republic of China has a pilot problem,” the investigative journalist writes in The Invisible Coup. “Beijing needs five thousand pilot cadets every year to meet the demand for both military and civilian pilots. Because the Chinese military tightly controls the country’s airspace, it can domestically produce only about 1,200 pilots a year. So, Beijing quietly erected a system to train three thousand of them a year in the United States.” “Across the US, at least sixteen flight schools, operating out of taxpayer-funded airports, are training Chinese cadets—sometimes without disclosing their foreign military ties,” he continues. “They do so by sending future military pilots to the United States posing as civilians to learn how to fly.” As a result, the U.S. is feeding a pipeline of Chinese pilots, some of whom may one day face American forces in the skies. Locals have been pointing this out, with resident Fred Warchel asking, “Why train potential enemies to fly?” Drug overdose deaths in the United States have plummeted amid President Donald Trump’s crackdown on the southern border. While other factors may include increased availability of opioid overdose antidotes, such as Narcan, the retired NYPD sergeant said he believes that nothing has made a bigger impact than “shutting down the floodgates at the border.” Earlier this month, podcaster Joe Rogan noted that drug overdose deaths in the United States have “dropped off a cliff,” citing the Trump administration destroying drug smugglers’ boats in recent months. The Department of Justice has subpoenaed five top Democrats in Minnesota to question them on the legality of their opposition to the federal enforcement of immigration law. The subpoenas sought documents from Gov. Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis and Mayor Kaohly Her of St. Paul related to their policies on immigration enforcement efforts in the state. Two Minnesota prosecutors, Keith Ellison, the state attorney general, and Mary Moriarty, the Hennepin County attorney, were also sent similar subpoenas. The investigation is supercharged by the Democrats’ behind-the-scenes support for the mobs that harass federal enforcement officers and pro-enforcement demonstrations. “You’ve got to get rid of sanctuary cities,” President Donald Trump told reporters at a Tuesday press conference. But underneath the anti-ICE efforts, the top Democratic officials may also be implicated by hidden cooperation with the Somali-run welfare fraud throughout Minnesota. President Donald Trump revealed that he had signed an Executive Order to bring back mental institutions and mental asylums, stressing the importance of getting “people off the streets.” “[I] Signed an executive order to bring back mental institutions and insane asylums,” Trump said. “We’re going to have to bring them back. Hate to build those suckers, but you’ve got to get the people off the streets.” Trump responded by pointing out “states like New York and California” that had mental institutions ended up releasing people “into society because they couldn’t afford it.” “They used to have them, and you never saw people like we had, you know, they used to have them,” Trump said. “And what happened is states like New York and California that had them, New York had a lot of them. They released them all into society because they couldn’t afford it. You know, it’s massively expensive. But we had, they were all over New York.” When California was still a Golden State, the idea that movie and television production would film anywhere else was ludicrous. After more than doubling his tax incentives from $330 million to $750 million in July of last year, when compared to 2024, California still saw a 20-percent decrease in local production during the fourth quarter of 2025. Imagine what it takes to move your production to another state — all the inconvenience and expense. But California is such a disaster, nearly twice as many productions are now shot outside California. Things are so bad in the former Golden State that studios are building permanent production facilities in places like New Jersey and Georgia. They obviously want all the way out. California is a failed state with massive budget deficits, high taxes, insane regulations, and, thanks to environmental extremism, is under constant threat of catastrophic but preventable (with sane environmental policies) disasters like the recent wildfires that leveled entire neighborhoods.
