My mom taught me early on in life that prayer was meant to be very specific and by name when possible.

The long term Rapture in the Air fellow bloggers know that I have had a long struggle with my son but have also been extremely blessed in how he has brought us together and the success he has had in bother soccer and in football.

His name is Jonathan and it was chosen because in Hebrew Jonathan means "A Gift From God"

My son has had a very long battle to get where he is at. Many would have given up.

He is where he is at because his sophomore year he was a hand full and we decided to send him to military school where he excelled and earned an all state award in football as a kicker.

I recruited hard for him and he had many offers. He choose to go to Colorado State University to play football.

In 2018 he went to CSU as a red shirt freshman. He didnt get to play or even really a chance to compete.

Last fall we put him into the portal to go to a different school to play. He had many offers but his room mate really wanted him to stay at CSU so he did stay.

I have sent him to many kicking coaches and  psychologist and he is currently seeing a sports psychologist and a 20 year professor from The Denver Seminary.

His room mate recently contracted Covid and he's had to sit out for two weeks.

He took his last Covid test today before Thursday's game.

He has worked soo hard to get where he is at.

He's the starting kick off kicker. He's number 93.

If you could pray that his Covid test comes up negative todayand that he's cleared to play Thursday Night against Fresno State, and that he has success that is well earned both Thursday night and through out the season I would be extremely thankful.

To God be the Glory

Maranatha and Thank You for Your Prayers

Indeed praying that Jonathan be fit to play!  May hard work be it's own reward, and may prayers bring timely blessings!

We'll for sure pray for Jonathan, Scott.  He is blessed to have a Dad who loves him so much.

Is the game going to be streamed?  Nothing on my calendar for Thursday...

I'm bettin' on the "up-there" lunch venue, Scott, as being the most likely.  It's been a couple years, I think, since our last lunch meeting.  You got my number.  Anyway, tell Jonathan that there are some really good folks praying for him.

I just spent a half an hour at least scouring to find coverage online and off-air, Scott, and conclude I will simply have to listen on KDCO (AM 1340 and FM 104.7) Denver.  I'm sure the Lord already knows how Jonathan did this coming Thursday night.  😉

Again Lord remember Jonathan as well as his father!  Let Your goodness reign and be manifest in their lives!

Lift each of their hearts just a little closer to You, filling their heart with thanksgiving!

Answer their petitions and be glorified!

In Jesus's glorious and holy name!
