Please Forgive This Rant

Friends in Christ:

It has been a breath of fresh air and a wonderful feeling to read the TRUTH and experience HUMOR at the same time at this site.  It has been wonderful to find a place where those that rightly divide the TRUTH don’t spend their days tickling each other's ears and entertaining each other with dribble and gibberish, and that don’t equate "love" with "tolerance" – thinking it is better to have peace and go to hell rather than to fight for God's Word.  This forum is awesome and provides many of us that are grounded in The Word with a place to congregate and have fellowship!!!

However, outside the parameters of this forum, reality today consists of so many individuals putting their two cents in so many places where they should not, and we are truly remiss if we don’t just give them a nickel to take their wares elsewhere. If we give them a dime will they stop promoting false doctrine? If we give them a dollar, will they fade away into oblivion?  These people are causing many brothers and sisters to stumble.  They are a DISGRACE to Christianity!!

This site does not allow the enemy a platform to mislead the blind (Can't we just close our eyes and pretend it isn't happening?  Hey Dorothy, where’s Toto?).  At this site, we don’t have to be bombarded with any of the following:

• "I felt a wee voice in my right ear in the wee hours of the night -- it was the Holy Spirit" (Or maybe you just needed to get up and go wee-wee?)
• "I heard a shofar -- God is telling us He's on His way" (Or possibly you could check with a General Practitioner to determine if you might suffer from Tinnitus?)
• “My paycheck today averaged out at $11.11 per hour-- it must be a sure sign that the rapture is close because I was jolted awake at 11:11 also"
• Etc., etc. (ad naseum) -- Where is the barf bag when you need it? Cough choke, spit, and puke -- not necessarily in that order! 

I am always more concerned with the Silent Majority who lurk but never post.  This is the audience that I believe God has inspired me to reach out to and attempt to provide some words to encourage somebody who might be down, dejected, confused, or in need of some spiritual salve. I don't know if I ever make any headway with this, but I really do try. I try to elucidate that too many wolves in sheep’s clothing are unable to discern a black hole in Ursa Minor from a hole in the ground on Earth – yet they want to pontificate to you that they are the moral and ethical standard for which you should aspire to achieve.

If somebody could prove to me that these fools had more than one brain cell to rub up against another, I would argue that the second brain cell must be out searching for the first one to connect with. They need to come out of their darkness before it is too late.  God will hold them accountable for what they have done with His Son on this earth.

Please remember Brethren:  Don’t give heed to individuals at the other boards, sites, etc. that want to focus on that “supposed’ mote that is in your eye rather than to deal with the actual beam that is in theirs.  To rephrase just a bit, they need to get that telephone pole out of their eye before they can even begin talking to you about the splinter that might be in yours!

What is being allowed at those other so-called "christian" forums today is destroying our true Christian witness to the lost and confused.  We are being portrayed as lunatics by the unsaved because we are being unfairly associated with this group of non-discerning, nominal "christians" – christians in name only (CINOs).  I resent the fact that we have a difficult time reaching the unsaved because they won't allow us within a mile of them.  The unsaved don't want to hear the Word because they don't want to associate with crazed nut-heads that have been masquerading as “christians” at other sites.  The unsaved now treat us as if we have leprosy because of what they have read at other forums.   Who will be accountable for this come Judgment Day?

We should be attempting everyday to reach the lost and please our Lord instead of chatting with faceless goofballs who think God is happy with them because of how they sift the sand during their infantile playtime in the sandbox. "Here, let's shovel some of this quicksand, and we'll cover it up with roses, and then we'll number it, paint an erotic picture of it, find out where it fits within the Signs of the Zodiac, and then claim it is from God.  In fact, we'll have someone say "Thus Saith The Lord" to confirm its legitimacy and to iterate that we are holier than everybody else. Oh, joy, oh, joy we are making such a difference in the eternal destinies of others and we are legends in our own minds".   Cough, choke, spit, and puke again.

May God reach down His Hand and help us in our endeavor to accomplish HIS WILL -- not our will or the will of other faceless leaders who promote another doctrine that either ignores or takes scripture out of context.  Time is short. Listen to the Holy Spirit from on High and not to mortal man.
