True but I don’t think that’s the case for most if not all the members of this forum and these conversations are about our pets.

Ok … confession time … I reckon I’m guilty of loving my faithful fur baby companion more than my siblings.  They claim to love me but their actions speak differently.  They never call, write or text … UNLESS … they need something from me … or … they scoff about the next rapture bus schedule.

I’m also guilty of sharing my steak, hamburgers and chicken with my fur baby.  And if I’m in a nice restaurant and can’t finish my meal .. the waitress will asked if I want a doggie bag and I always say yes, please.

I consider my dog, my best friend since my brother decided to suddenly move down south  and leave me all  alone to fend for myself.  Isn’t he sweet?  This is why I never depend on any humans … they will only disappoint.  But Jesus wont and neither does my dog.  I see the love in my dog’s eyes as he looks up at me.

Bless your heart Sis, not pointing fingers, just saying!

As a youngster of about 10/12 yrs of age there was a neighbor I considered a friend!  Turns out he was a “demon seed” child!

He would start fistfights if he felt someone had slighted his dog in anyway!

He was a despicable human being!  Heard he died tragically at an early age under dubious circumstances!

I could even share something more close to home but will refrain!

Point is I have known some mean and ugly people who were avid pet lovers!

I have nothing against pets!   But I need more than testimonials from pet lovers to subscribe to raptured pets!!!

Here’s a thought to keep in mind.  Immediately following the rapture this world is going to get sooooooooo dark … the Holy Spirit will stop restraining the evil back and all hell will break lose.  It will be the darkest time ever on planet earth.  I read Christians have asked their unsaved family or friends to take care of their pets thinking they won’t go in the rapture.  Well … those unsaved family or friends will not be taking care of their pets … because famine will be the norm and what food is available will be sooooo expensive … a days wages for a loaf of bread … do you think they will spend money on dog food?  I doubt it.  In fact … if they are Chinese they will probably cooked your pets for food.  Sooo with that thought in mind … I seriously doubt the Lord is going to leave Born Again believers pets behind.  I’m clinging to this promise … Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.  This includes the pets will be saved and rescued.  I have enough faith to believe (ask and it shall be given to you.  You have not because you ask not.) when our pets die they go to heaven and when the rapture happens they will go up with us too.

Again to my beloved RITA family I simply refuse to preach this idea as dogma, excuse the pun!

And I will most humbly apologize to all once proven wrong!  Hope it is so for all concerned, but that I err on the side of caution in the mean time!

Truly nothing personal!

Perhaps but we’re they saved? It doesn’t sound like they were. And if not then mixing them in with us doesn’t make sense to me. That would be like mixing  a person who loved children in with child molesters. It’s not even the same conversation.

I cannot speak for the other members but my posts are not about convincing you one way or another. Your beliefs are yours. My posts are to bring comfort to those who love and care about their pets and are concerned about their well being after we’ve been raptured. It sounds to me that you don’t particularly care for pets and that’s fine. What I don’t understand is why you want to limit the way God chooses to please His children and why you seem to be trying to steal their joy just because you choose not to believe. This is not core doctrinal theology and has no bearing on a persons salvation. As I said before, I’m not trying to change your option but you seem to be working hard to discredit the overwhelming majority of opinions in favor of God providing for all that dwells with a believers home. Since none of the evil people who you’ve encountered are members here can we just leave them and their ways out of this conversation?

TR, this thread is NOT about proving you wrong. Can we please move on?

I got a question on this verse … is this talking about tribulation time?

Hosea 4:3

Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.  (are they taken away and brought to heaven?)

Yes yes yes, we are different that nonbelievers. For me I know the HS teaches and guides us to Truth and it is a life-long process. When I sin my teacher corrects me. I believe most here on RITA are very mature Believers whom the Holy Spirit is still working in their lives. We would never be able to get by with putting  anything or anyone above our God. He is still growing us in Christ and with me there's a lot more work for Him to do on me lol
