I still like the Shemitah Cycle theory. That makes so much sense to me AND it has us out of here no later than Spring 2022.

Don't kill the messenger! 😉

I happen to agree that 2023 is the most likely candidate. It is simple and straightforward. Jesus died, was buried and resurrected in 30 AD. He will come back 2000 years later in 2030 AD. Minus 7 years of Tribulation and you have 2023. It is the most logical Rapture timeline out there.

However, is 2021 really 2021? IMHO, our calendars have the very real possibility of being out a couple of years. They are based in part in Roman consul lists, some of which are fragmentary.

Therefore, I truly believe that it could be the year 2023 right now. It isn't out of the realm of possibility. This preserves imminence. We really don't know the day or the hour. :wacko:

When constructing a theory, one should always look at the assumptions one has made and then see if they are valid. We assume that our calendar is accurate but it just might not be. This very well could  be part of God's design. 😉

Indeed! Who knows what time it really is!  Certainly something to consider!

Lots of spelling mistakes and typos there. Grrr... Did I mention I dislike the 5 minute limit for editing?

Well … according to this website (below) they seem to be very positive the Crucifixion took place on April 3, 33 AD.  So that REALLY is going to  push the rapture out 5 more years! :wacko:   And they are going by the “evidence from Astronomy” to figure out the darkness during the Crucifixion.  But the question is how accurate are those “astronomy records” since Pilate was trying to prevent Jesus from rising from the grave by having his soldiers seal up the tomb and to keep watch.

64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

So for all we know … they could have left out recording the solar eclipse. :unsure:  Or the darkness could have been a supernatural event kind of like the 9th plague in Egypt that happened suddenly with total darkness.

Then the great earthquake happened after the darkness causing …

51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Is there anyway to see when the great earthquake occurred back then?   Or perhaps they left those off their charts as well :scratch:  like they are doing to this day.  Nothing new under the sun.  :mdrmdr:

——————-

The reason I don’t think the rapture is in 2023 is because the NWO have pushed up their 2030 agenda to 2023 … to have their perfect environment in place and us useless eaters off the planet.  If God waits until then … millions of people would have already died before the tribulation even starts.  I just can’t see that happening.

Plus this passage tells us to look up when we see these things BEGIN to happen:

Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

This means that if Jesus's ministry coincided with at least three Passovers, and if the first Passover was in AD 29, he could not have been crucified in a.d. 30. But if John the Baptist began his ministry in AD 29, then Jesus probably began his ministry in late AD 29 or early a.d. 30.

A 33 AD Rapture is touted by mainly Cat licks ? since they have to have the crucifixion take place on a Friday. This, of course, is unbiblical.

Here is an article supporting a 30 AD crucifixion. As a caveat, the blog promotes a mid Trib Rapture but doesn't talk about that in the article.

God has always followed His pattern by design. The Shemitah cycle, holds just as much significance for the church age or Age of Grace as it does for the nation of Israel. The cycle begins anew in 2022 and this  time will begin the last 7 years of the current human history. As Israel turns 74 in May 2022, this also concludes God’s timetable for the life of a man by the final 7 years to reach 80. Christ death and resurrection began the Age of Grace for the Gentiles; the tribulation is for the nation of Israel, the church is not present for this Judgement. So, as I am preaching to at least 90% of the watcher choir, the birth pains are reaching their peak, the wars and rumors of wars (Geri supplies a lot of this knowledge for us in her research - thank you!), is heard from every nation, the fig tree is in full bloom (Lending to many nations, but not borrowing), the prince of the air has copulated with his willing concubines to create the technology to “change” mankind into non-human, therefore removing God’s DNA for those who desire evil (as in the days of Noah), and the martyrdom of believers (if a delay where possible) would be far greater than the Holocaust. ALL of this is in play NOW!

My very soul screams “open your eyes” to see! The church was lulled to sleep by “peace” and complacency and a “normal” way of life of prosperity beginning in the first century, no one saw or chose to see the evil plans for humanity being laid out so carefully. Now they are fully on us. I don’t mind if God decides that a FEMA camp is my next home, (His Will always is what I hope to follow) but I will not be alone, but understand, the Bride of Christ is not subject to be here for the wrath of our Heavenly Father. I memorized a verse that seemed strange to me at first until I meditated on it I Peter 1:13 “Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” — we are to be ready in season and out for the work of the Lord, not anxious and ready to go home at any moment! :prayer-hands:
