They are going to introduce the 2 people who are hired to replace us at tomorrow's team meeting. My manager asked my colleague if she is comfortable telling people at the meeting that she will be on unpaid leave. Hmm...................my colleague has to do the dirty work too? Wonder if she will quickly call me tomorrow before the meeting. The saga continues....................I am just being silly. I misunderstood what my colleague and manager were saying. My manager did not expect us to say we are going to be on a leave of absences as of Jan. 1. She was going to say it herself. She wanted to know if it's ok with us to mention it in this meeting. It was hard to log into the meeting and see the 2 new hires there. at the end of the meeting she mentioned us going on a leave (no mention of the reason or that it is unpaid) she thanked us so much for our contributions and even reminisced a bit. I also have to meet with the new employee and fill her in.......... A dear colleague of ours who happens to be an MD called the other lady. she was upset she was leaving.....................My colleague told me that when she found out the reason, it's like it was a 180 degrees turn. She went on about unvaxed people causing harm to others............ My colleague eventually managed to silence her. I don't remember what she said that the other colleague could not find an answer to. How about if this vaxxine is so good why are you scared of the unvaxxed? Logic should cause these idiots to shut up, but it won't because fear is stronger than logic and the powers that be know it. I am so shocked at how stupid people are. No wonder so many crooks take advantage of the masses. I know! An MD telling my colleague we are endangering them. That absolutely astounds me......never in history do people get a vaccine to protect other people??? They do it to protect them personally. I have seen lots of people bring up the polio vaccine.....but they forget a few things....one that the polio vaccine was much safer once they started giving the inactivated virus and also there is no insect or animal vector which means utter eradication is possible. Complete eradication of influenza, rhinovirus and coronoviruses is impossible because they all have animal vectors which mean we can never eradicate them fully, which means everyone getting vaccinated would not stop the virus. But when physicians stop remembering what they should have learned in med school and instead just repeat what talking heads say on TV then we are in big trouble, and I am ashamed of them for their laziness and cowardice.
