Don't know if you have seen this video yet from Steve Monette's Youtube channel, but it is quite sobering.  In my opinion, he does an excellent job of distilling the first piece of the Trump peace plan document down to the bottom line, which is that there is dividing of the land.  And this is just the economic portion of the plan, with the political yet to come.  If Steve's assessment is accurate, I would be surprised if we make it through the week without some serious sort of major "natural" catastrophe or other form of judgment being manifested.  If you wonder why I say that, watch the two videos with Gary Stearman interviewing Bill Koenig on his book, "Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel."  Steve's video is just under 12 minutes and well worth the time imho.  Gary's two videos run just under 30 minutes.  God cannot be happy with the plan being proposed and that cannot bode well for our country or any other that supports it.  Mercy Lord, until Maranatha!!!

Watchman, I agree this looks “not so good” but hang on, there is a bit more to come. Remember who developed this plan, a Orthodox Jew. I have to agree with Amir, America would not have set ourselves up as the great protector and allied together with Israel to turn around and go against God’s plan. It appears more to make Palestine similar to a sub district within Israel. My opinion on a few reads.

I would agree, the world is about to get a shake, rattle, and roll! Things are heating up certainly! :popcorn :popcorn (it’s a two bag of popcorn week for sure). I feel like I’m holding my breath as the chaos is about to hit the fan.

Anything that motivates action directly from the Lord, I'm all for!  I'm also given to understand that in fact this is a five year peace initiative, but is always is presented with the caveat that it will more than likely work out to seven years!

Indeed who know's when and what type of response this will solicit from the Lord?!  Just waiting upon that last "trump" card to be dealt.

Though my bags are packed, I'm not cancelling my subscription to RITAN just yet!

The Lord is still indeed mysterious His wonders to perform!  We believers having already chosen the Lord as saviour, are given more days to deepen the intimacy of our relationship with Him!  IMHO this is where our focus should be honed as a laser.

Truly we wait, we watch but more importantly we should waft our prayers and hearts more fully upon Him!

Again, what Ariel Sharon was ready to offer Yasser Arafat and whatever peace initiative he was ready to concede was stopped short by the Lord himself.   Sharon's sudden and massive illness speaks to me of God's intervention.

Word was from the day that Sharon either had a treaty or was about to sign one!  If I remember correctly.  This is what had given me the idea that one was already in place and simply was being held back until the proper time!

Notwithstanding, now a man named Trump is also touting a peace initiative which he feels can easily be agreed upon by all sides!  Albeit, not while the Church is still present!

Indeed a  7 yr peace treaty is a huge marker and an important part of end time prophecy!  This and all the other markers which have recently come into view, are indeed an herald of the Lord's soon return for His own!  We can't help but get excited!

Sadly, for many within the church this neither solicits excitement let alone an honorable mention!  And in some instances, fear.

Our Hope is ever before us, our love is ever with us, and this world not stands behind us!!!

Check out this secret meeting behind the scenes that was set for this weekend at Camp David.   Right now its unclear if U.S.-Taliban talks are over or only paused.   I still have high hopes a peace deal will be announced soon!  :popcorn

Trump calls off secret meeting with Taliban, Afghan leaders

Jonathan Lemire and Deb Riechmann
Associated Press 9/7/19

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Saturday he canceled a secret weekend meeting at Camp David with Taliban and Afghanistan leaders after a bombing this week in Kabul that killed 11 people, including an American soldier, and has called off peace negotiations with the insurgent group.

Trump has been under pressure from the Afghan government, lawmakers and some members of his administration who mistrust the Taliban and think it's too early to withdraw American forces. The administration's diplomat talking to the Taliban leaders for months in recent days said he was on the "threshold" of an agreement with the Taliban aimed at ending America's longest war.

"Unbeknownst to almost everyone, the major Taliban leaders and, separately, the President of Afghanistan, were going to secretly meet with me at Camp David on Sunday," Trump tweeted Saturday evening.

"They were coming to the United States tonight. Unfortunately, in order to build false leverage, they admitted to an attack in Kabul that killed one of our great great soldiers, and 11 other people. I immediately cancelled the meeting and called off peace negotiations," he wrote.

On Thursday, a Taliban car bomb exploded and killed an American soldier, a Romanian service member and 10 civilians in a busy diplomatic area near the U.S. Embassy in Kabul. The bombing was one of many attacks by the Taliban in recent days during U.S.-Taliban talks.

The Defense Department says Sgt. 1st Class Elis A. Barreto Ortiz, 34, from Morovis, Puerto Rico, was killed in action when the explosive device detonated near his vehicle. He was the fourth U.S. service member killed in the past two weeks in Afghanistan.

"What kind of people would kill so many in order to seemingly strengthen their bargaining position? They didn't, they only made it worse!" Trump tweeted. "If they cannot agree to a ceasefire during these very important peace talks, and would even kill 12 innocent people, then they probably don't have the power to negotiate a meaningful agreement anyway. How many more decades are they willing to fight?"

It's unclear if the U.S.-Taliban talks are over or only paused.

The U.S. envoy negotiating with the Taliban, Zalmay Khalilzad, abruptly returned to Qatar late last week for unexpected talks with the insurgents on the deal that he had described as complete just days earlier. Khalilzad said last Monday that the agreement "in principle" to begin a U.S. troop withdrawal only needed Trump's approval.

Since Khalilzad's announcement, two horrific Taliban car bombings in the Afghan capital, Kabul — including the one that killed the U.S. soldier — and objections to the deal from the Afghan government and several former U.S. ambassadors to Afghanistan have put pressure on the Trump administration as many wonder whether a deal will truly bring peace.

The Taliban have explained their surge in deadly attacks, which have included the capitals of northern Kunduz and Baghlan provinces last weekend, as necessary to give them a stronger negotiating position in talks with the U.S. That stance has appalled Afghans and others as scores of civilians have been killed.

On Friday, Khalilzad met with Taliban lead negotiator Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar and the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, Gen. Scott Miller, with Qatar's foreign minister present, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said in a tweet late in the evening. Both Thursday's and Friday's meetings were "positive," he said.
