I thought I would ask this here. I have my own thoughts on this. I think the Bible says we believers the church will be God's heavenly people and serve as king-priests at the throne of God from the rapture, and thru the Millenium and new Heavens and new Earth. But I think Israel will be God's earthly people. Your thoughts on this. Phil I think we will be wherever Jesus is. John 14:3 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. We have an incredible future!! God bless ☺️? I lean that it happens this way … The church, who were faithful and that earn crowns at the Judgement Seat of Christ, will be given the honors of ruling and reigning with Jesus too. Romans 8:17 I Corinthians 3: 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. The Church Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings (this is the church people who were faithful and obedient that received the prize - crowns) and priests (this is the church who were not faithful … they were the carnal Christians … who didn’t earn anything (everything burned up at the and weren’t even looking up for the rapture): and we shall reign on the earth. (Note: I “think” there are 2 Temples … one in heaven and one on the earth … so I lean the carnal Church Christians, that become the priests, will serve in the earthly Temple. However, if there is only one Temple … then they will serve in the heavenly Temple). ———————— Then we have the Tribulation Saints … they don’t get any crowns because they procrastinated /sat on the fence and didn’t believe during the church age … instead they are given the role as priests in the heavenly temple … Revelation 7: 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Here is another thought … those that enter the millennium kingdom will still have a human body that requires sleep (8 hrs ?) So I think those who have crown(s) the rule and reign duties … will be able to get a break and can do their hobbies, visit with other believers, space travel, etc. A few thoughts and some scripture: Melchizedek was both a king and a priest. Genesis 14:18-20 New King James Version Abram and Melchizedek 18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; 20 And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all. ---- Yeshua/Jesus is in the order of Mechizedek. As such he is a King and a Priest. Psalm 110:1-4 New King James Version Announcement of the Messiah’s Reign A Psalm of David. 110 The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” 2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 3 Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 4 The Lord has sworn And will not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.” ---- Also see Hebrews 7 for how Yeshua/Jesus is our Great High Priest. :yahoo: ----- We too are kings and priests. Revelation 1:5-6 New King James Version 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
King James Version
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
