Anyone remember "Soylent green"?! Earth friendly alternative to over population TR Man's first diet was vegetarian (Genesis 1:29). However after the flood, God gave to Noah a diet consisting of meat (Genesis 9:3). In Revelation, we read that all things are restored (made new) and that there is no more death (Revelation 21:4). Since we are not to eat live things (Genesis 9:4) and there is no more death, we are back to eating vegetarian. Sorry to disappoint because I love nothing more to eat than a nice, big, juicy, ribeye steak. I love how the last three chapters of the Bible restore everything to how it was in the first three chapters! Pets next?! Ezekiel 36:35 This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited. ——————- I give my dog the following people food ... in small portions as a treat apples, bananas, blueberries, fresh pineapple, cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumbers, fresh peaches, oranges, mango, fresh pears, raspberries, strawberries, carrots, lettuce, celery, green beans, popcorn (unsalted/no butter), bacon, natural organic peanut butter, Stoneyfield plain probiotic yogurt, bread, eggs fully cooked ... Outlawing pets, and using them as a food source! It could happen! TR Oh .. that would be horrifying ... Unfortunately, I believe the Chinese have been using anything that moves (dogs, cats _______) and frying them up as their food source. :negative: First the beef, then pets, then humans! All of God's creation will be under attack! TR I lived/worked in Hong Kong and made trips into S. China - what you see in the markets is not what you'd see at your local grocery store in the US. I went on a day trip into S. China with a group and we saw them selling puppies at a street market. They weren't selling them for pets 🙁 Oh ... you were soooo brave living over there. I recall the Beijing Olympics 2001 and the news reporter was showing their culture with the street vendors ... I about lost it when I saw ... the scorpions on a stick 🙁 Egad..... :negative: :negative: :negative:
