Seems to me that many here and many of the Bride are most readily saying "not if, but when", with regards to the Rapture, and it's soon timed occurrence! I find that not only exciting, but hardly a coincidence. Much like with the first coming of Christ, many were waiting in anticipation. Their hearts were being prepared by God for the appearance of their Messiah! As our hearts are now being prepared! Certainly not a specific "heads up", but rather the Church hearing what the whispers of Heaven and the conviction of the Spirits leading! IMHO Given recent world events and the devastation it has caused globally, we can almost view it as a "confirmation" for the Blessed Hope's fulfillment. Again not if this year or next, or the one after that. But rather, which season of this year?! Or am I simply projecting?! TR Nope, brother, I think what you state is true, not if, not when, just it’s here! Anna knew the Messiah had come, Simeon knew the Messiah had come. The disciples knew, but just didn’t grasp Gods sovereign plan. We know, and we get the plan. Remember, keep your oil filled (Holy Spirit), wicks trimmed (confession), wedding garments (be watchful) on, the Bridegroom is coming. :yahoo: :prayer-hands: Hey, we being the Bride, we will all have a place on top of the cake! Tee, hee, hee. TR TR that’s so sad :groan —- most Jewish wedding toppers show the couple under a chuppah. A typical wedding cake is either a honey cake or apple cake and only one layer. Toppers are modern day, just a bit of trivia. That’s going to be one HUGE cake! LOL I’m wondering if the wedding cakes will be personal ones since every one has different likes ... perhaps there will be German Chocolate, Black Forest Cake, Molten Chocolate Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Boston Cream Cake, Chocolate/Vanilla Cake, Angel Food Cake, Sponge Cake, Short Cake, Spice Cake, Carrot Cake, Lemon Cake, Cheesecake, Coffee Cake, Banana Cake, Pound Cake, Coconut Cake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Pistachio Cake, etc. ? There will no doubt all be personalized, I'm sure. Tammie, I can't hardly be dogmatic after all the previous times we were wrong. And this also is why I look towards a divine disclosure. I'd trust His word over mine, any day. That said, there is only a slight sense of somberness in my spirit that this is indeed the year. Mingled with some apprehension and some fear. Perhaps this will grow as we get closer?! TR So are you guys hungry or something? :popcorn — ok I’ll bite — mine will be angel food cake, seriously, I love that sponge type cake. :yahoo: How about a manna cake with extra sugar and cinnamon! Topped with a caramel butterscotch syrup, with sprinkles. OK, now I'm hungry! TR Hee hee hee ... yep VERY hungry, could go for a slice right now. I love all kinds of cake ... but if I had to choose ... its the 3 layer sponge cake with whip cream, strawberries, pineapple and peaches. :good: I agree 2020 is looking very promising for our new life in the Promise Land above! I’m extremely excited and can’t wait to say good riddance to this life. TR. Your topic "headline" is a good functional defintion of biblical hope...Not if, But When. Now faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the substance of things not seen. The world's type of hope is essentially nothing more than wishful thinking about something that we have no basis upon which to confidently expect our desired outcome will actually come to pass. Biblical hope, however, is entirely different. It is based on God's promises and the faithfulness of His character. It is a strong, confident assurance of not if, but when... Harpazo! Maranatha!!!
Are you getting excited brother? Hearing that trumpet tuning up? :prayer-hands:
