Tesla Owners Shocked by $20,000 Repair Bill After Company Blames Battery Damage on Rain:

A Tesla-owning couple in Edinburgh, Scotland, were left speechless when they received a colossal repair bill of $20,698 from Elon Musk’s car company to fix their EV’s battery. Tesla blamed “rainwater ingress” for turning the electric car into a pile of junk.

Edinburgh Live reports that Johnny Bacigalupo and Rob Hussey, Tesla owners in Edinburgh, Scotland, received a jaw-dropping £17,374 (approximately $20,698) bill for repairing their Tesla. After finding the EV dead and having it towed to Tesla for service, the owners received the massive bill to replace the battery, which Musk’s company was “damaged due to water ingress.” They were informed that the battery damage caused by water was not covered under Tesla’s 8-year warranty, adding to their woes.

The owners claimed the car was not submerged in water or placed into any other unusual circumstances. In fact, the couple drove to a restaurant in the rain with no problems, but the vehicle wouldn’t start when they left to go home.

Unfortunately for Tesla fans, this case is far from unique.  The incident raises questions about the durability of Tesla batteries and the comprehensiveness of the company’s warranty. The cost of battery replacements for Tesla vehicles is known to range widely, from $5,000 to well beyond $20,000. This variability in repair and replacement costs adds a layer of uncertainty for Tesla owners, who may find themselves facing unexpected and hefty bills.

At this point .. its going to be expensive to own any vehicle whether its electric or gas … with this war … the latest woes developing is this …. “middle eastern officials could cut off oil supplies, which could make gas prices skyrocket”  and then nobody will be able to afford gasoline to drive with prices jacked up to $10.00 or more a gallon.    All done by design with our dependence on foreign oil.  I sure hope to be gone before the next hike occurs …

George Soros’s $25 Billion Woke Empire Closes Numerous Offices Worldwide and Cuts Off 40% of its Staff:

Now that George Soros is 92 years old, he is passing control of his global operation to his son Alex Soros, who is reportedly more radical than he is.

Known for his ultra-liberal causes, 37-year-old Alex Soros has vowed to further broaden his father’s wide-ranging woke interests to include voting and abortion rights, and gender equality.

George Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF) is closing a considerable number of its international offices and laying off over 40% of its staff.  In August, OSF sent grantees a note saying it “will largely terminate funding within the European Union, and further funding will be extremely limited.”

At a conference in Austria later that month, Alex Soros challenged reports that this represented a scaling back of the nonprofit’s work on the continent.  “It’s news to me that OSF is leaving Europe,” he said. “It was reported in various outlets that that’s the case but we’re simply changing our strategy.”

George Soros’s network of foundations, boasting a massive $25 billion in assets, has been a powerhouse for years, funding for evil causes.

Poll Shows Rising Worldwide Opposition to Mass Migration:

Opposition to mass migration is rising even faster in Chile, Sweden, and Germany than in the United States, according to a large international survey by USNews.com released Thursday.

“There’s somewhat of a negative consensus among receiving countries … that immigration laws need to be hardened,” admitted Cristián Doña-Reveco, an associate professor at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Nonetheless, governments in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries are forcefully imposing huge waves of migration on their citizens, partly because the concentrated power of donors and investors often overwhelms the influence of distracted, busy voters.

The USNews.com study likely understates the worldwide shift against labor migration.  Notably, the study was conducted with the very pro-migration Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Many other polls show that migration — and especially, labor migration — is increasingly unpopular among swing voters.

The shift in public opinion is being accelerated by the White House’s transfer of several million poor migrants into Americans’ cities.

Seldom do we see an issue where at least 79% of Democrats, Republicans, independents, men, women, upstaters, downstaters, Blacks, whites, Latinos, Catholics, Jews, and Protestants all agree – that the migrant influx is a serious problem.

The strong majority of voters last month who said by 22 points that New Yorkers must work to slow the flow of migrants rather than accept and assimilate them, has grown to an overwhelming 35-point majority today. That view is shared by 82% of Republicans, 68% of independents and 52% of Democrats, as well as two-thirds of downstaters and 59% of upstaters.
A 54 percent majority of Americans say Biden is allowing a southern border invasion, according to an August 2022 poll commissioned by the left-of-center National Public Radio (NPR).

The decades when the American masses enjoyed their fastest income gains—in the middle of the 20th century—were also the decades when immigration was near historic lows.   The 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s were a time of low immigration and rapidly rising mass living standards. The period since the ’70s has been neither.
