Bernie Sanders Now Asking DOJ to Prosecute People in the Fossil Fuel Industry for Dissenting on Climate Change:

People on the left have been screaming about authoritarianism and fascism for years now, but when you look at what they are actually doing, they give their game away.

Bernie Sanders now wants to use the power and force of government to prosecute people in the fossil fuels industry for dissenting from the progressive line on climate change.

Doesn’t that sound an awful lot like… authoritarianism and fascism?

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders led a gaggle of fellow lawmakers in writing a letter to the Justice Department demanding that it prosecute people in the fossil fuel industry for saying things about climate change that progressives don’t like.

A group of left-wing senators led by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., are demanding that the Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecute the fossil fuel industry over its alleged climate disinformation campaign.

The left wants to make it illegal to disagree with them, it’s really that simple.

US researchers develop revolutionary 'cancer-killing' pill:

The drug in question, dubbed AOH1996, works by targeting the protein that helps facilitate cancer cells reproduce and spread throughout the body.

US researchers at City of Hope have found a new way to treat cancer via a targeted chemotherapy pill that can kill solid tumors, according to a recent study.  The findings of this study were published in the peer-reviewed academic journal Cell Chemical Biology.

How does AOH1996 help treat cancer?
This is where AOH1996 differs from other targeted cancer treatments. Most others tend to focus just on a single pathway. However, that method can result in the cancer mutating and becoming more resistant to treatment.

Our cancer-killing pill is like a snowstorm that closes a key airline hub, shutting down all flights in and out only in planes carrying cancer cells," said City of Hope Prof. Linda Malkas in a statement.

In tests, AOH1996 was found to be useful in treating breast, prostate, brain, ovarian, cervical, skin, and lung cancers. It selectively kills cells by disrupting how those cells reproduce. This process is known as apoptosis and it prevents cells with damaged DNA from spreading throughout the body.

More clinical trials are slated to help test this drug for future use.

DATA: 50% of Millennials, Gen Zers Want to ‘Focus on Themselves’ Instead of Having Kids:

Only just over half of millennials and Gen Z – 55 percent – say they are planning to start a family, citing the environment, finances, and career aspirations, among others, as deterrents, research from OnePoll has found.

One-quarter of the 1,000 18 to 34-year-olds surveyed stated that they have completely “ruled out” having children, with another 20 percent unsure whether they would do in the future. More than half believe that it was not important to have children to “feel fulfilled in their lives.”

The most common reason for not wanting children was so that people could have “more time to focus” on themselves at 49 percent. Financial issues were another prevalent concern at 47 percent, followed by “fears about the state of the world” – 38 percent – and concern “about the impact on the environment” – 35 percent.
