Isaiah 43:10 is a foundational verse for the JW cult. Ironically enough, it also totally dismantles their argument that Jesus is a created God/god. It Thanks all! The encounter went very well. I was reading in Exodus 15 that morning and prayed some of it in anticipation of the lecture. When the meeting started they said "Let start by singing Exodus 15!". Then after we had been talking for about an hour I thought well Lord I guess I won't have a chance to talk about The Angel of the Lord or Jesus being the Almighty. Almost immediately he said "Well Jesus isn't Almighty" and I was able to show him Gen. 48 where the AOL was Almighty God. He had already said the AOL was Jesus so that was cool. We are still emailing back and forth. Very good report, Regen. ? I met a seeking Muslim today. He has been attending a church for the last few weeks that my friend goes to. He wanted to find a church to attend but didn't know where to go. So, he phoned the JWs. They phoned him 3 times and every time, this Muslim got the feeling to absolutely not pick up the phone. I am grateful for God's protection. Please pray for Khalid. My prayers for this JW person, Regen. JW's are brainwashed by their leaders. Sure, they use the Bible, but their '"infallable" authority is not the Bible but instead is what their leadership tells them to believe. And their heretic Bible "the New World Translation" says Jesus was "a god" not God Himself. So, I think the Holy Spirit may be getting thru to this person showing that Christ truly is God's Son and God Himself. I also think it is not so much what or how we say it, but the Holy Spirit working thru our witnessing. I just give the message of the gospel that Christ died for all our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead. And that this gospel IS our completed salvation; and that all a person needs to do is accept by faith His finished saving work and his thus receives eternal forgiveness and eternal life from that moment and forever. I simply have to let the Holy Spirit work in the unsaved person's heart to convict and convert them to saving faith. Keep up the good work Regen. God's ingathering of the last of the harvest!
