Two looters were arrested recently after they dressed as firefighters and entered local homes vacated in the Palisades Fire, according to information given by the Los Angeles Police Department to community members Saturday evening. Police have arrested dozens of would-be looters who have targeted the affluent Pacific Palisades, devastated by the fire that raged last week. Many neighborhoods were destroyed, but some homes remain intact — enticing looters. Approximately 100 Los Angeles firefighting vehicles have reportedly been sitting in a repair lot for quite some time as fires devastate community members, leaving homes and businesses in ashes. Per the Daily Mail, a local activist took photos of the LA Fire Department’s Bureau of Supply and Maintenance lot at North Avenue 19 that apparently show the red vehicles parked next to each other, the outlet reported on Tuesday. During a recent interview, LAFD Fire Chief said, “We have over 100 fire apparatus out of service. Having these apparatus and the proper amount of mechanics would have helped.” The Mail article continued: The LAFD has a total of 183 trucks, meaning that more than half of the city’s fire trucks are out of commission as the fires continue to burn through dense urban spaces, killing at least 24, displacing more than 200,000 and destroying over 12,000 buildings. A reporter for the outlet said there were fire engines, ambulances, and ladder trucks at the site. “This is essentially a maintenance yard,” he said, noting there had been a budget request from Crowley. She told the fire commission that “The LAFD emergency fleet is in constant state of disrepair attributed to years of deferred maintenance, deferred vehicle replacement, and the lack of resources for adequate staffing and replacement parts." Meanwhile, Los Angeles residents are demanding Mayor Karen Bass (D) be recalled via a petition that has as of Tuesday morning reached 135,442 signatures, per Breitbart News. Remember Maui where blue color roofed houses were left standing? I just saw on the TV news a blue VW in perfect condition with destruction all around. Michel Valentine, a former U.S. Attorney who once worked under Kamala Harris, has released damning footage of firefighters taking nearly 45 minutes to respond to a Pacific Palisades fire that could have been contained. Valentine’s video, shared exclusively with NewsNation’s Rich McHugh, captures the fire’s rapid escalation as he watched helplessly from his home. The Pacific Palisades resident described an “intense plume of smoke” that grew exponentially as precious minutes ticked away without action. Despite the growing inferno, firefighting efforts didn’t begin until 11:13 a.m., nearly 45 minutes after the initial call. Contrary to claims that no amount of water could have prevented the fire’s spread, Valentine firmly believes early and aggressive intervention could have contained it. The Los Angeles Fire Department has confirmed the timeline of the 911 call but has yet to provide an explanation for the delay in deploying resources. “In my opinion, as a former prosecutor, this verges on criminal negligence, I say. It’s just wrong. A lot of people are at fault.” “I think Mayor Bass bears the ultimate responsibility for this failure, and I think she should be held accountable. There’s no way that I could trust her again as my mayor in light of this tragedy, there’s no way.” https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/01/criminal-negligence-former-us-attorney-kamala-harris-drops/ An airplane has reportedly crashed at Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington, DC, grounding all takeoffs and landings. https://www.breitbart.com/pre-viral/2025/01/29/report-plane-crash-ronald-reagan-airport-washington/ LAPD: 2 Looters Arrested, Impersonating Firefighters, in Palisades Fire:
