But I must confess :bye:  I like eating the white watermelon seeds.

Geri,

"I like eating the white watermelon seeds."

Do you really like eating the white watermelon seeds?

Or, you just don't want to bother separating seeds from sweet red watermelon?

Ok I admit I’m lazy … I wont attempt to remove the white seeds … only the dark ones.  I know I’m digging a hole here … I hope you’re not going to call me a name for that. :stinkerbell:

When I do buy watermelon I try to make sure its the seedless ones but for some reason … there are a few seeds in it. B-)

I prefer the ones with seeds as it means they have life in them. I think that seedless watermelons should not be able to be classified as organic, IMHO.

Oh and I like eating the black seeds. 😉

Looking forward to growing watermelons in the millennium kingdom!  I wonder if we will be eating watermelon out in the fields with seed spitting contests? :mdrmdr:    Then seeing who can harvest the biggest and tastiest ones in the shortest amount of time.  B-)

In the Garden of Eden the watermelons must have tasted divine because God called everything GOOD.   However … after the curse or was it after Noah’s flood … look what happened

My most favourite of all melons. 92% water and it tastes great on a hot summer day. Mmmmm...

That's interesting that in Africa watermelons were historically bitter tasting.  Maybe if Hal joins us up there, he'll become sweeter too.    He'd be a turner.

Here's a thought.

What if good is only 3rd best ? look at Romans 12:2

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Maybe God held back knowing what would happen with Adam and Eve ?

Maybe God will make and call the new heavens and new earth "perfect"

So imagine eating stuff that God thinks is perfect lol
