So even as they lock you in your home your very “work” day is tracked....

This simply could not have been dreamed of 50 yrs ago, let alone in the time of the Apostles!  And though many are in denial still, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  TR

That work spyware software is over the top creepy and considered harassment. I used to work from home and thankfully they never required that from us. We got our work done ... besides they would know if we slacked off and it would be a red flag if the bills weren’t paid, expense reports weren’t processed, quick book entries were not recorded, conference call meetings weren’t set-up, conference booth arrangements or flight/hotel reservations weren’t made, business cards and freebie handouts not ordered and various projects assigned if they weren’t completed. If we did have to take a long break or drive into town to get the mail or buy stamps/mail out letters or buy something at Staples, we would always email and notify our boss that we are stepping away for a bit and when we returned it was “I’m back”. When thunderstorms came, they wanted us to shut down completely. Sometimes I lost power from them or from snow or ice storms and would contact my boss by cell phone to notify the rest the company I’m without power and vice versa. Then I would make up the hours at night or on the weekends. As long as the work got done in a timely manner that is all that mattered.

That’s creepy about the smart TVs. I own 2 old TVs one is from 2005 and the other 2011 and use them to watch DVD’s. I do wonder though about the on-star service in my suv. It was free the first year but when they required me to pay, I said no thanks, but I do wonder if they are still listening in? If so, they are getting an earful of Christian radio messages and/or music.

Yes TR, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  For us, thankfully, it is the Glory of God.  For those who will be entering into the 70th week, that light at the end of the tunnel is a roaring Wrath Train barreling down the tracks.  So sobering.
