Had an experience today at work that, in my mind, was a microcosm of the state of the Laodicean church.  Was speaking to a professing believer at the office.  The topic came up of what our dream vacation would be.  I said mine would be to be able to go to Israel.  This professing believer then commented to the effect that they actually had recently been given the opportunity to vacation in 2020 in Israel, but they had opted to decline because they wanted to take their kids to Disneyland.  Oy Vey   :groan   Makes me think of a song I used to play on Christian radio back in the mid 1980s, Living in Laodicea by Steve Camp.  Keep the fire burning bright remnant believers!!  Maranatha!!!  Link follows.

Wow ... hands down I would have opted for the Israeli trip as well!  I betcha hotel room and touring Jerusalem is far cheaper too than 1 day of stress and aggravation in waiting in long lines and emptying your pockets at Disneyland.   The last time I was at Disneyland/Disneyworld, Knott’s Berry Farm, Hearst Castle ... everything was $12.00 a ticket ...

Always a dream of mine as well.  But as close as we are I guess I'll just wait for the perfected version.

That would be my dream vacation as well (to Israël). My husband and I are planning to go in the next year. I wish I could join in with JD Farag or Amir Tsafarti. I certainly would prfer a guided tour with tying the past, present and future together.

Many Christian ministries propose trips to Israel.  Having a guide/teacher would be the way to go.  Glad to hear from you Sis!
