TR Agree with you'all - when I heard the proposed legislation to provide every adult with 2,000 a month plus 1,000 per month per child - that is likely more than most people make in their regular jobs. A family of 4 gets 6,000 for doing nothing. Why go back to work? Those people stop working and they stop producing as they make more not working. No people producing goods and services there becomes shortages and rampant inflation. Then like a drug - people are hooked on the no work lots of money plan and then they tell you if you want to receive your check you have to get on this train and don't worry about where its going and those smoke stacks in the distant are just nothing. History repeats itself. Yeah, won’t work for folks like me. That would be a financial crunch, I have no kids at home and 2000 a month would be a big problem, I’ve been blessed to be a hospital executive and a adjunct prof. I would lose my home and life as I know it. Even if both my husband and my mom (who lives with us) received an income, we would lose.
