
Maraschino cherries. make a stiff fondant with powdered sugar , butter, and vanilla or other flavor. wrap it around a drained cherry and put in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes, on parchment paper. then it all doesn't melt if they are dipped quick in chocolate. there are little paper wraps to put each cherry in individually. i used to make these a week or so before christmas and have them in tins to cure. the fondant soaks in the cherry liquid. Love vanilla as well! Not sharing chocolate should be a capitol offense! TR No chocolate when Dan was a teen! But there were dinosaur droppings!
