I feel like we're months away from the rapture, truly.

For the longest time I've asked myself,

If you new the date of the Rapture what would change in your behavior and prayer?

1. Would you read scripture more?

2. Would you repent more often?

3. Would you serve others more often?

4. Would you ask more often to be considered one of those worthy to escape?

5. Would you focus on being a fisher of men and explain the Lambs Book of life to as many people you know?

6. Would you reach out to those who have hurt you deeply? And Focus on Forgiveness.

7. Would you pray more often?

8. Would you ask for God's Will maybe?

And what will you say at your BEMA Seat of Judgement?

I'm sorry?

I wish I had been more a fisher or men?

I wish I would not have been so caught up in materialism?

I wish I wouldn't have gotten so upset over political parties?

I wish I would have spent more time in prayer

I wish I had used discernment more?

I wish I would have been focused on serving you in third world countries?

I feel like the Rapture could happen this fall.

I hope my BEMA Seat Judgement of Judgement isn't as Brutal as I think it should be.

At this stage of  my life I don't think I would change anything. The only things worthy of the test of fire at the Bema Seat are the things that the Holy Spirit has worked through me. Everything else is stubble and will burn up.

I have dreaded the Bema Seat for a very long time but the thing is is that God is so good! All this time He has been molding us, correcting us, forming us more and more into the likeness of His Son. I don't fear the Bema Seat judgement any longer. I think we might just be surprised by what He has done through us. And then He gives us rewards for it! How amazing is His love for us!!! :yahoo:

Boulder — I hear what you are saying and truth is many folks struggle with the fact of what did we not do that we could have or should have done — like the parable of the buried talents.

But as Yohanan said — God is a loving Father, beyond what most of us have ever experienced here on earth, even with the best of fathers. He loves us so much, I may not get the biggest and best crown to give back to Jesus and I have my own regrets but God is good to all and his steadfast love is over all. Just know that we are going and it will be truly any day! :yahoo: Think about it — where righteousness dwells — the scepter of His kingdom is the scepter of righteousness…. How awesome — peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! :yahoo:

Well instead of months away … I’m trusting we see our Blessed Hope later this week!

#4 doesn’t even apply to a true Born Again Christian.   We are worthy to escape the horror judgements once we placed our faith in Jesus’s righteousness (only His blood removes our sins) and asked Him to be our Lord and Savior.  There are no works involved on our end.  It’s a free gift … requires faith to receive it .. just as you are.

I’m guilty of not reading my Bible more … instead I’m reading end time prophecy news articles and watching prophecy YouTube’s and spending time in fellowship on the forum board trying to encourage brothers and sisters here.

I used to be bitter towards the “Christian” people that hurt me… I have recently, this year, let that go.  I only want to see justice towards the 3 satanic “health care”  monsters responsible for murdering my mom - starving her/withholding liquids, drugging her up with morphine, turning up the oxygen tank to the highest level to try to get her to have a heart attack but that didn’t work, so then  they … removed body parts without our permission.  Then she died.  Got the big bill after her passing and had to call up the insurance to ask why is this not covered?  They told me what the codes were for.  Couldn’t sue the pants off them because my brother had her body cremated, against her wishes.   Sooooo … if we can watch the Great White Throne judgement … I will want to be there to see those 3 evil individuals and say “hey there  :bye:  remember me?”  Oh and 2 out the 3 I did witness to and they mocked.

Everyone will wish they did more.  But Jesus will be rewarding us too.  Don’t be so hard on yourself … just do what you can that you feel you need to do.  A lot of newbie Christians will receive the same rewards as those who have been a believer for years.  For instance if a newbie Christians witnesses to one person and then the rapture occurs … they will get the soul winners crown like a believer that has been faithfully doing the same for 30 - 40 years.  Maybe the crown will have more jewels?  But they still will get a crown!  And if we are longing for the rapture … we all automatically get that crown too!

I'm in the same boat where I don't feel like I do enough, or much of anything most days.  So much time is wrapped up in work, and very little in being a good witness.  I feel more drawn to teaching and study and am very reserved in person, so witnessing doesn't happen unless I'm having a conversation with someone I know well... and they bring it up.  Yes, that had happened and I think maybe it's part of a health issue I've been dealing with since January -- I'm trusting God to use that to speak to one person in particular.  But I have led a few small studies, read the Bible daily with a small group where we interact on you version, and have participated in a few forums as I feel led.  Sort of the bare bones minimum in many ways.

Would that change if I knew the date?  Maybe a day or so ahead of time, but honestly I'd probably be too busy rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I pray about it a lot and trust God that he does work through me in some ways.  For sure any glory or credit is 100% Him anyhow.

While there may be some regret at the Bema on my part, I do think the main thing will be love.  I don't think I'll really be able to understand that this side of a glorified body.

I love that analogy. I think we would all be pretty much in the same boat (pun intended)

I pray for the Lost - but I would pray more for the Lost.

I'm going there one day,  just trusting! ....Just as I am.

I'm going to lean on Who God says He is, and totally on Jesus sacrifice.

I'm going to trust in my adoption and that His Name and shed Blood covers me.

I will have a heavy heart for what I wish I'd never experienced in life on earth...

But I'll trust in whatever correction comes at the Bema seat because we are His and He is Love.

He first loved us. He is compassionate. He is our Peace. He drew us to Him for eternity.

And if I'm allowed, I will fall at His feet and cry, receiving His endless perfection of Love!

Like I read in a you tube comment, I wasted my life.   It's too late now; I can't go back and start over and do a better job.  I'm hoping the Bema Seat is a private consultation, not like a high school assembly where everybody finds out things that are none of their business.  I imagine Him saying something like You realize you wasted your life and haven't earned any rewards?  Of course I'll say Yes Sir.  Then hopefully He'll just say Very well, you may go on your way.  And I'll hightail it out of the room!

I'm hanging onto the fact that our Shepherd is gracious to stupid sheep.

Over and over the Bible compares us to sheep. Sheep are always wandering off and getting themselves into trouble. And it’s a known fact that they can’t find their own way back. That’s why they need a shepherd. It’s his job to find them and bring them back at the proper time. Our Shepherd is Jesus (John 10:11), and He does the same for us. When it’s time to go, He’ll round us all up and take us home. He’s promised that He’ll lose none of those who the Father has given to Him (John 6:39-40).  (from Jack Kelley)
