Personally .. I’m more worried about meeting … Ezra, Nehemiah and these Minor prophets: Hosea, Amos, Obadiah, Nahum They are probably used to being upstaged by Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Samuel, and Isaiah :yes: I never figured on meeting any of those people. Who do I think I am, Billy Graham? Why would any of those "big guys" want to talk to somebody like me? And what could I possibly have to say? I think the Holy Spirit works through His body of believers and given that I think we will be pleasantly surprised at what He has accomplished through us. I am very surprised to hear someone tell me that something I said spoke to them. What?!? What did I say? The truth is God had something to say and He used my mouth to speak words that ministered to someone else completely unbeknownst to me. It helps keep our pride in check. You will have plenty to talk about with those "big" guys. You may be surprised to find them rushing up to you to discuss something you did that filled them with wonder. God is amazing and He uses broken vessels like us to accomplish His plans and His will. And because He did it all honor and glory will be given to Him. If you want to hurry, here's a cliff notes version. Don't take 365 days to get through it; we don't have that long.
Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and them saying “have you read my book?” And me responding “sorry not yet … but I’m getting to it.” 😉 Then being asked “how long have you been a Christian?” “Um … a half a century.” I wonder if they will be insulted and/or we still have a chance to speed read their books before getting introduced to them?
