I have stocked up on food that will last for a month or so. Also have about 20 gallons of water. It isn't much but it is good to be prudent.

Just a reminder to those who have fur babies ... don’t forget to stock up on their food and special treats.  I just bought a humongous bag of Signature lamb bites and with the other bags of dog food I already have ... I think my dog is set until the rapture or if we are still here early next year.  I noticed they are running low on all dog food at this particular store I was in.  I walked around the store to see what prices have changed since Tuesday ... today starts the new sale day of the week for them  and the “fabulous” sale on the frozen TV dinners are now ... not 5 boxes for $10.00 ... not 4 boxes for $10.00 (which was in effect up till yesterday)... but now ... its 3 boxes for $10.00. Wow, what a bargain.  🙁

I glanced down the commercial bread aisle where they have the wonder bread, hot dog and hamburger rolls, etc. and I see they are getting low.

The frozen pretzels were on sale for $2.00 a box yippee!  so I picked up a few boxes. Can you tell I’m stalling a little with attempting to bake the homemade bread? :mdrmdr:

I picked up humongous bags of dried Mediterranean apricots and dried prunes they were both on sale.  Only 2 bag left and I don’t think they will be restocking for a long long time.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the Iceberg Lettuce for $1.99 and the leaves weren’t “brown”.  Or do you suppose they spray painted them green? B-)  I will soon find out tonight while washing if the water turns REALLY dark green.  I feel like I’m having a special “treat” since going without for so long.  They were going like hot cakes ... only 7 heads left.  The rest of the veggies are being depleted ... so I picked up more cucumbers and the campari tomatoes in plastic containers ... they are only $3.00 so I picked up 2 containers and 1 was left.

Still plenty of candy and soda.

It was strange to see not a lot of store workers in today.  Not sure if its because there is nothing to restock so perhaps they were told don’t bother to come in?

I wanted to get gas even though the fuel gauge indicates a full tank.  Filled up with the lowest grade  ... almost 3 1/2 gallons (3.459) and the price came to $10.00.  🙁

I'm starting food storage again. We did really well during quarantine because I was very active every day at multiple stores.

So far prices are up about 25% that I can see, in AZ.

I was looking at a few YouTube’s of people making homemade Italian bread.

This guy is the bomb ... he spent nearly 2 days making 2 Braided Italian loaves ... it looks delicious but wow ... sooooo many steps and who has all this time??
