Things are getting quite expensive here. Gas for the car has absolutely exploded to record highs. They are really trying to destroy the economy in Canada   :negative:

I saw $1.76/litre in Canadian dollars today which works out to $5.25/gallon in US Dollars. *Ow*

Geri, I’ve tried it and it’s fine, has a bit of hard orange taste over Tropicana (my fav). But i would agree that stocking up w/frozen is probably a wise decision in the long haul or short run before we exit through the orange fields :yahoo:

hot ice is used as well — I get meals and stuff through home delivery (just not enough time in the month to go shopping), always comes in a insulated pack w/hot ice.

I’ve gone to home delivery for fresh veggies from the local co-op as well — convenient and worth the extra money — I’m just not very trusting of the stores any longer.

Kolleen, I agree but i too have succumbed to the convenience of having a case of TP, paper towels, vitamins, cereal, etc…. Delivered “the next day” via prime. :groan

Ouch Arthur! I shall not complain about $3.09/gallon in my corner of the world. Smile :calvin

A quart of oil for a day's wages... and do not harm the oil or whine?

Exactly Tammie, except that paper products are still found pretty easily here.

You know, we don't know what the elites would try next, and we don't know when Jesus will call us up, so I think it's wise to buy extras as we're able, of this or that depending on your most important family needs. Medicines, water, canned foods, pet food, ways to stay warm, lighting - the basics.

The times are upside down for sure as expected per our watching knowledge … Scripture tells us to be prepared for what we do not know, yet may expect ….

Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, or even to eight, for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.“

Not to break the bank but just be wise, … if you use toilet paper, then you know you may need it, so if you find it on sale or can get a bit of extra, you will use it … makes sense to me. course if you don’t have TP, grab an extra can of kitty liter, a lug-able-loo, and you are good to go for a long time ….. :mdrmdr:

Yep … around here I found Dollar General has the best and cheapest toilet paper … 4 rolls is only $2.00 .. its is like Angel Soft.  I got enough rolls to last until  … the 2nd Coming :mdrmdr:   So whoever breaks in is going to LOVE my supply of not only can goods but paper products. 5A430912-34D1-4D04-9DFF-EF3DE7B8EF32
