TR, what a great perspective about the last redeemed Gentile.

Our God is a God of Grace. I've been reading Numbers, and when it is mentioned of "resting His countenance upon you," that is one of the most profound verses in the Bible.

Just think of it...our beautiful, omniscient, omnipotent God, He who binds the infinite expanse of creation together through His presence, decides to rest His very countenance upon you. In other words, through His grace and kindness, imparts that PEACE to you (Romans 5:1-2). He makes you aware of your standing in Him. That is grace, kindness, friendship, Lordship, you name it.

It makes me wonder what Heaven will be like for us. Who is man that He would regard us so very much?

Still don't know why He loves us and me so?!  Don't care, just blessedly grateful!

And to think God made the angels first and yet He still wanted to create man as well.  I wonder how much time passed from the creation of the angels until this event … “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” Genesis 2:7

And the love of God is so great for Him to want to redeem us back into the family vs. the fallen angels … they do not get a 2nd chance.

  1. Beautiful song!

Geri9, indeed the Angel's were neither offered forgiveness nor His heart!  Which speaks of His heart towards us!

Is this because we alone were made in His image and likeness?  Which also speaks to our favored status as children of God!
